I'm using the clear blue advanced ovulation tests and am on cd6. I am having lots of cm and have tested this morning and I've got a solid smiley. Surely that's too early to be ovulating?

Not necessarily. Depends on the length of your cycle.

You can also have more than one gear up to ovulation

Thanks for replying. My cycles vary each month so I guess it could be either of those.

Might be worth temping. Your luteral phase usually remains fairly consistent, but the follicular phase can vary loads
