Blood in EWCM, help! (Picture warning)

Hi everyone, just looking for some advice. Can anyone tell me what blood in EWCM means?

Me and my OH are TTC baby no 1 and this is our first cycle, I've been tracking my CM the last few days and today is the only day it's had blood in it.

According to Flo i'm due to ovulate on Weds (23rd) and I'm currently on CD20 but my periods are slightly irregular and this month I'm predicted to have a 36 day cycle but they usually average 33.

I'm wondering if this means I'm actually ovulating now and Flo is a couple of days out?

Bumping as I would really appreciate any help, please? 😩

Could just be random mid cycle spotting, could be a small bleed following ovulation or could be implantation bleeding (although sounds like this would be too early for where you are in your cycle).
I had implantation bleeding though and it did look like this, don't want to get your hopes up unnecessarily though 🙈 xx

Ah thank you so much for your reply! It just freaked me out a bit because I wasn't expecting it Haha! But it's reassuring to know it could be ovulation or just normal spotting, would definitely be too early for implantation. Don't worry I won't get my hopes up, I know to keep a level head until anything is confirmed xx

You can bleed when you ovulate.

It's called ovulating spotting I think.

Or ovulation spotting!

I am placemarking for answers as in a similar situation!

Just off a 52 day cycle (usually have a 36ish day cycle) and I am still bleeding but it's mucus-y? And flo and cycles think I should ovulate on Thursday despite my freaky long cycle!!

Don't know whether or not to sack this month off or to still check for smiley's any way?

It wasn't until I started TTC that I realised that I actually had slight spotting each month around the time of OV. It's quite common apparently☺️ xx
