Hi, it’s my first time posting on forums I just wanted to ask for advice if anyone can help or relate? So I hope your ready for this... Smile

Last year I had my daughter feb 2019, had the injection right up until 12 of November this year, I came off due to weight gain and hormonal changes (I was so moody). 8 weeks ago I had a procedure done for some abnormal cells and since this I’ve had on and off spotting (which I’ve expected).

Fast track to the 20th of August AF showed up and lasted 5 days my calendar says i ovulated on/around CD16 i spotted during
this time too. I’m not tracking ovulation properly due to the procedure I had done. We did dtd the day before ovulation but not on.

However a week after ovulation i started getting stringy egg white cervical mucus which was unusual for me, sore boobs, spotting but pinky gooey string mucus? Sorry for tmi Confused

Fast track to CD29 I felt a bit iffy still with the sore boobs one sided pinchy cramps and something just told me to take a test, so I took a FRER the day before AF was due and to my surprise it was a faint but visible positive the OH could see it for sure!

Yesterday AF was due, I started spotting light pinky red, then got redder and more but it’s only there when I wipe absolutely nothing on a pad? Still got this today with a little stringy red/black mucus on toilet paper? Am I pregnant? Is this a chemical pregnancy? I’ve no idea what to think and my OH is so confused too Confused xxx

If you’ve had a line come up on a frer and it has colour to it and came up within the time frame then I’d say yes, you’re pregnant.

The spotting you’re having could just be normal early pregnancy spotting. Is it bright red blood when you wipe? They say brown/dark blood is old blood so usually nothing to worry about. Lots of women bleed a little in pregnancy, and unless you start getting pains too, or the bleeding gets heavier then I would try not to worry (easier said than done I know).

Take a test in a few days, your line on your test should get a little darker if all is ok. If it turns out to be a chemical then the line will get fainter and eventually the spotting will turn to bleeding like your usual af.

Good luck x

@Moominmiss thank you for responding!

It came up within the 3 minute time frame on both tests, both faint but visible and pink colour to it!

The bleeding at the moment is literally just there when I wipe it ranges from light/bright/dark/red with the occasional bit stringy black mucus 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m hoping that things are all still well in there It did only start early hours of yesterday morning so not even 48 hours and it hasn’t touched a pad? Maybe I’m just panicking I’m reading all these things that say bleeding in early pregnancy is so common and I’m hoping that all is well, I’m also hoping that it’s because my cervix is still a little sensitive from the procedure I had done and then also sensitive cause of pregnancy?

I need to stop stressing myself over it that’s for sure, I never thought I’d hear myself say this but AF either just needs to appear or disappear 😂 xx
