@Elakiya yeah so I take the prog to 14dpo which is Sunday, I then take a test. If bfn I stop it till after ov next cycle, of pos I continue it to 16 weeks pregnant

I was sooooooo nauseous from 8-10am it was horrid on the school run

candycrush2298 · 13/10/2020 11:49

@Elakiya yeah thats what I am thinking I am thinking that even if we don't ovulate we can get pains and symptoms because our body is just used to signalling that response. Could be wrong just a theory lol.
I can post you some soy.

Elakiya · 13/10/2020 12:43

@candycrush2298 @NamechangeTTC Yes please!

Elakiya · 13/10/2020 13:02

@candycrush2298 @NamechangeTTC I don't know how I'd transfer the money without hubby finding out though. Probably not a good idea actually he'll get really annoyed if he finds out I am buying something else to try and get pregnant instead of focussing on being healthy.

Also I just realised I am spotting quite a bit therefore I think I am wrong and AF will arrive tomorrow. That makes no sense as my OPK wasn't a peak on day 15 :S

candycrush2298 · 13/10/2020 13:10

@Elakiya I dont want anymore. Its a gift xx

Hmmm weird about your AF. Does that mean your luteal phase is shorter than expected?

OP posts:
Elakiya · 13/10/2020 13:18

@candycrush2298 Possibly however I read that Luteal phases don't really vary much in length and I thought I'd ovulated day 20 so that would make it 5 days shorter which I can't see happening.

I think I probably did ovulate earlier however :

  1. I only did 1 opk maybe I'd taken it too early (mine don't get darker and then peak mine are more sudden).
  2. Day 18 when I took the second opk looked kind of dark so I thought I'd be ovulating soon however maybe I actuallycaught the end of my peak which ties into the 2/3 day surges I get?

All in all see what not taking opks and no monitoring does to me lol! I have bought a new box for opks :).

That's so sweet of you however I'd at least want to be allowed to send you a gift from Amazon if I were to accept that offer.

Elakiya · 13/10/2020 13:24

@NamechangeTTC awww hun do come on here if you ever need to chat. We all know how you feel. I don't have any children myself and this journey is ridiculously tough. If you need support we're all here for you.

candycrush2298 · 13/10/2020 13:37

@Elakiya yeah luteal phases vary a day or two maximum from what I have read. So definitely cannot see it being that. I agree think you caught the tail end of your peak rather than the beginning as originally thought.

I completely agree 100% with you definitely good to have opks in the house 🤣🤣🤣

I honestly don't expect anything back but if its the only way you will accept the soy fine hahaha. They are super cheap only £4.50 so nothing extravagant alright!!!! PM your address and I will post them tomorrow to you.

@candycrush2298 got there in front of me. I’m more than happy to post if needed.

I’m 11dpo. Spent 17 hours with an intense stitch yesterday like nothing I’ve ever experienced. Didn’t move. Nowhere near where I get back pain and was not restricted movement wise

BFN.

Elakiya · 13/10/2020 16:10

@NamechangeTTC Thanks for offering hun that's really sweet of you!
Don't be disheartened about an 11dpo BFN some people get it a lot later like the day of their missed period.

That pain sounds awful though! Why don't you get it checked out. I know specialists won't see anyone regarding fertility until a year but having pains is a different thing altogether.

@candycrush2298 Thanks again hun!

NamechangeTTC · 13/10/2020 17:24

@Elakiya it’s only been here once or twice today and it’s just weird. I’m a bit crampy but differentiating AF and IBS is hard. The stitch was bloody weird.

Elakiya · 13/10/2020 20:30

@NamechangeTTC I'd keep track of things like this so that if it repeats you can raise your concerns with your GP.

NamechangeTTC · 13/10/2020 20:59

Yeah. I doubt they’d care but I’ll try!

Boc86 · 14/10/2020 07:07

Another temp drop for me, 3 days in a row :(

Boc86 · 14/10/2020 07:58

Forgot to add my chart

NamechangeTTC · 14/10/2020 08:05

Sorry @Boc86

NamechangeTTC · 14/10/2020 08:06

I’m not due on till Friday but I’m wiping blood. Ffs

candycrush2298 · 14/10/2020 08:30

@NamechangeTTC hahahaha sorry girl beat you to it. Ugh annoying for the BFN's. Are you spotting or has AF started?

@Boc86 your chart is actually still looking great its way higher than your pre ovulation temps still up at 37 I would say its still looking great :)

OP posts:
NamechangeTTC · 14/10/2020 08:33

I don’t know. I got two days of spotting the first cycle we tried. It’s light brown blood. 12dpo.

Boc86 · 14/10/2020 09:14

Ahh no @NamechangeTTC that’s what I get for about 3 days before my period

@candycrush2298 oh ok so it needs to be below the cover line for it to be bad?
My past 3 nights sleep have been AWFUL and not had more than 2 hours in a row

candycrush2298 · 14/10/2020 09:35

@NamechangeTTC hmmm maybe its normal for you then? If not I would get it checked by the doctor.

@Boc86 yeah if it drops live very close to the coverline or below then AF is around the corner. Usually there have been times I have seen charts where it dipped way below the coverline and the next day shot right up - that is a clear obvious implantation dip but those are pretty rare. When it drops that low its usually AF. Awww man yeah your temps are probably not extremely accurate then they could be higher you never know xx

OP posts:
NamechangeTTC · 14/10/2020 09:43

It doesn’t happen every cycle so I dunno. Normally it’s bang
I’ve gone to lie down for a bit and see what lack of gravity does.

Welliedays · 14/10/2020 09:54

I don't want to say it, but could it be implantation @namechangettc? Is there alot?

Elakiya · 14/10/2020 09:57

@NamechangeTTC I used to get this a lot I'd spot late into my cycle but the doctors weren't concerned as I have already been diagnosed with PCOS and spotting is normal for someone with PCOS.

The spotting reduced a lot when I started exercising and being healthier. However since lock down it's started coming back as I haven't been healthy or exercising at all. Maybe change up your diet and see if it changes things next month?

NamechangeTTC · 14/10/2020 10:40

That’s interesting @Elakiya. I haven’t run as much as I should but going out more walks etc. Diet hasn’t gone well so far as we’re skint

I had ? Endo diagnosis when younger but it never went anywhere as the pain just stopped. I’ve had a few scans and have had haemorrhagic cysts in the past but they don’t spot, they’re catastrophic bleeds - personal record is tampon, night pad, underwear, leggings and chair within 30 mins.

It’s tailed off but I’ve been lying down.
