I’m day 20 of 30 day cycle. Had an internal ultrasound this morning as have been experience spotting before AF for past 5 cycles.
We are TTC and just wondered if I have this month...would she able to tell? And would she have told me? I’m guessing not...She asked me when my last period was and when I told her she said yeah that seems about right’.
I wanted to ask but felt ridiculous! Am I reading too much into this?

The reason she said it sounds about right is because they measure the thickness of your uterus.
It gets thicker toward the end of your cycle and sheds away (period).
She won't have been able to see at this point in your cycle if you're pregnant.

Ah ok thank you! Would she have said if she could see anything?

Yes, she would have said if she could see an early pregnancy but they aren't visible until around 6 weeks, possible hint of a gestation sac at 5 weeks via an internal. All of this would usually be after your missed period so if you're CD20/30, any early signs of a pregnancy wouldn't be visible yet.

I had the same this week and did wonder @Findmeonetsy but all they can see is the collapsed follicle or whatever they call it and the thickening of the uterus. Boring haha x
