Pre period cramps HELP!

Hey ladies.

I'm currently 10dpo and cramping very lightly on and off. Normally I'd just assume AF is on its way (due in 4 days) but I've had some other symptoms the month.

What I guess I'm asking is, any ladies who have been pregnant what have you felt 'cramp' wise and is it very similar to pre period cramping.

Hope that makes sense.

Thanks in advance xx

Hi
We were TTC for over a year. I had 'normal' period like cramps one particular month prior to AF dates and didnt think any more of it just assumed it was another unsuccessful month, however AF did not arrive! 10 BFP's (yes, 10, I just couldn't believe it....) and 8 months later we have a beautiful DD. I did mention to the doctor at the time re cramping and I was sent for two blood tests a few days apart to make sure my HCG levels were going up which they were.
Good Luck x

Thanks so much @mrsmmajeika it's so hard to know what to expect isn't it because you hear so many different things.

I was get cramps pre period so just assumed it was the uterus lining shedding but google tells me it isn't that but I still don't really know what it is! Xx

I'm with you on this, I've been cramping on and off and keep thinking AF is arriving!
I'm DPO12/CD33, I've done a cheapy test and FRER both negative at the moment.

This is my first both back TTC after a miscarriage in late June so I'm trying to stay positive but I already know I'll feel really disappointed if I have a BFN.

I felt exactly the same as I do when AF is on the way - I did a test anyway fully expecting a BFN but lo and behold, it was a BFP!

Hi!
You're definitely not out yet. I was so convinced I was out last month, has cramps for a few days, which can be normal pre period for me if it's gonna be a bad one.
So anyway, last month a few days before AF went to bed with a hot water bottle because I had cramps that had worsened, and was certain i would come on in the night or by the morning. I woke up and surprised to see nothing, tested and got my first BFP.
I had cramping pretty bad actually up until AF and for about a week after until it calmed down, so I was quite concerned.
But 6 weeks tomorrow.

Good luck and fx for you!
