Can I be pregnant if I'm testing negative days after period due?

Sorry if this is a very stupid question . Period due 3 days ago and have been cramping for over a week and a half so kept thinking period due but then it never came. Usually I get cramps the day before but not earlier. Other symptoms are mild nausea (but only occasionally) and sore nipples (again for a week and a half but less so now). Can I be pregnant and just not enough hormone in my urine yet or does a negative after period due just mean that I'm heading for a late period (only been off pill a few months)? Thank you!

Yes it's completely possible, just wait a couple of days (if you can!) and test again. Either that or get the gp to do a blood test as they are ultrasensitive.

no point getting a blood test, by the time you get the results, your period will have arrived or you will have had a postive test

wait until the day you are due on, or after, and use teh first wee of the day as hormones most concentrated.

Thank you Strawberry (love your name btw - did you hear that the alcohol in a martini or daiquiri intensifies the good-for-you-ness of the strawberries?), will wait a few more days just in case period arrives and then if still no postive and no period will book an appointment.

Isle, I was testing negative on cd44 but tested postive on cd58. GP tells me that some people don't test until very late - no reason why.

I tested negative for a week after my due date with both my daughters- positive exactly a week after i was due on both occasions. both my babies were v late too so beware if you do turn out to be pregnant! all the best with it all!

Has anyone had any experience getting pregnant after using Lupron Depot? I had a six month treatment for endometriosis & cysts. All is well now. My last treatment was the 1st week of May 2007. My last cycle was September 16, 2007. I am now 10 days late. I have cramping, headaches, and bloating. However, I'm not tired, no tender breasts, I was never nauseated with my other 2 children. You know I just can't seem to remember what I felt like when I was last pregnant. My current kids are 22 & 23. This is new to me again. I took 2 hpt's and they both came up negative. I took a blood test this past Tuesday and it came back negative. I'm going crazy. Any advice?

Yes, it's possible. I tested negative on home tests for almost a month.
