Ovulating twice in one cycle?

Hi, so I’m a little confused I’m due my period in 3 days roughly.
I ovulated around the 5th Of Sept. I then continued to do ovulation tests and they went back down to 0.21. I’m now 13 DPO but I have over the past two days got very high positives again. 1.78 Surely I cannot ovulate twice in a cycle or could this indicate I’m pregnant?

Hi @Mumzyof4 I can't see any of your OPK's from the 5th Sept. From what I can see you had an LH surge around 15th/16th and that is when you most likely ovulated. Sometimes you can have two LH surges in a month, on the first you won't actually ovulate, so you body will try again.

@mumzyof4 I got positive ovulation tests when I got a bfp!!!!!! Have you got a test?!

@Mumzyof4 there seems to only be a 15 minute gap between the peaks on 16/9 morning which is catching my eye - be careful not to force a concentrated pee out for an LH stick, I've done it myself and totally screwed all my readings up last month, thought I'd ovulated earlier than I did and missed the run up for the actual peak as we had taken a break from DTD for a few days before 😫
But even discounting that result, I agree with @Kay00 - it looks like you've surged 15/9-16/9 and I reckon you've ovulated around then...although I've also heard a few girls who had positive OPKs before their BFP like @AnxiousAnnie86 too so it's not impossible!
Have you tried a PG test yet? Are your cycles regular?
If you could stick up a pic of your earlier LH results that might give us a better idea too. I'm coming to know my actual peak reading is quite unmissable - it makes the control line look like a wimp 😂

I've had this before. Apparently the initial surges are not true ovulation and the final surge is when the egg is released. But the months that I've tested positive for multiple surges I never became pregnant, whereas the months I've only surged once I became pregnant.

Are you also temping and tracking CM? That'll help you figure out what's going on.
