@trying4one hey I'm CD5 now, but not due tomorrow ovulate for about another two weeks 😩

Trying4one · 16/09/2020 14:42

@AnxiousAnnie86 oh no do you have long cycles? My cycle is anywhere from 28 days to 31 days. I am CD4 and I think I am due to ovulate at the end of next weekend

@Trying4one my cycles last anywhere from 32-40 unfortunately ovulation normal Cd20-25 so I could still be 20 days off. 😩

How long have you been ttc are you trying anything different this month?

Trying4one · 16/09/2020 15:07

@AnxiousAnnie86 this is only the second month of trying. I came off the pill in January and we were going to start trying in May (as this was 6 months after a holiday Thailand and wanted to avoid Zika) but COVID meant we decided to wait. After I saw a nurse for a smear test she reassured me it was safe to start trying.
I am going to monitor my ovulation this month just to make sure it is when I think it is and I normally get ques from my body when it is. I am also going to make sure I take my trying to conceive vitamins everyday as I kept forgetting last month 🤦
Oh god such a long wait. Have you always had long cycles? Are you going to try anything different this month?

@Trying4one I don't think there's much more I can do differently 😂 we've been trying for over a year now.. we do all opks temping etc etc I have started reflexology this month so maybe that will calm my worries as that's why she thinks I'm not conceiving

Trying4one · 16/09/2020 15:35

@AnxiousAnnie86 have you gone to your doctor to have any tests? I have been told it can take up to a year if between 30 and 35. I am 31 and part of me wishes I started before 🤦 my endocrine doctor (I have a hormone imbalnace correct led by medication) thinks I should have the same chances as everyone but I am bricking it

@Trying4one no I can't do anything yet, I'm 33, 34 soon, I got pregnant in sept last year after only a month of trying but I miscarried in November, then my periods didn't return till January this year, so they won't see me until at least Jan next year :( I hope the journey for you is much much shorter then mine! It really does become all consuming x

Trying4one · 16/09/2020 15:57

@AnxiousAnnie86 oh no, are you in the UK or US? I have been told if I am not pregnant on 6 months to go see my GP, although the usual is a year. I think he must think the dopamine I am on should help. I really hope it does.
I keep my fingers crossed for you. May sounds strange but try meditating as it will help calm your mind and body. I normally use it for stress and heard it helps with pregnancy related stress too x

@Trying4one I'm in a lovely group on here we've all been chatting for about four months and lost and gained a few people on the way! It's a really helpful lovely group if you'd like me to add you into it xx

Trying4one · 16/09/2020 16:14

@AnxiousAnnie86 that would be lovely. It is nice to have people to chat with as I am sure I would just drive my husband loopy 🤣
