Disappearing line?

Hi ladies.

I caved and took a pregnancy test and I’m sure a line came up then disappeared once the control line had appeared. Is this normal? I’ve sat and watched tests before and never had that. Is ttc finally sending me mad? What does this mean. Faulty test?

Unfortunately tests can play tricks on us when the dye is still running. If it disappears once it's settled and the control line has appeared I'm afraid it's not a true line. If there's hcg present it bonds so it wouldn't get washed away. I've had this a few times. Sorry.

Thank you. I’ve read different things about it I knew not to get my hopes up. Just thought as the pink had already ran fully across it was still there, just the control line still appearing, that it might of meant something. Thank you for replying
