@HappyVibes with theCB I wouldn't worry I used mine for the first time and got O, next day O and then static third use and it was right because we conceived that cycle.

I'd say you're good to go with the static you have gotten and just see what OPK does tomorrow you might find tomorrow is stronger and then next day it starts to fade. I got my peak cheapie OPK the day after I got static x

Thanks @Bl0ndi3 very helpful of you lovely lady! I’ve just updated my app from this evenings test and it is showing this morning as peak. So we will DTD tonight & tomorrow. But I will continue to test too out of curiosity.

The reason I’m continuing to test just so I don’t miss it or get anything wrong is just because this mornings test line isn’t as dark as the control line as you can see on pic attached. But also because I only got one flashie on CBD before my static (which usually I get 4flashies minimum).

@RichmondLady1981 please could you show your chart where you got a high, but then got another high later on in cycle?

Hey all, sorry I've been so awol. Random question. Has anyone got a peak on CB but not got a peak on OPK? I got my static smiley yesterday but still haven't had a peak on the OPK or anywhere near that! They're all reading really low. Is there a chance I haven't ovulated?

@chloedancer897 interesting! Everyone seems to be questioning CBD and OPK this month ha! My OPK is showing on premom as peak BUT if I had read it on my own, I would not have said peak at all as it isn’t dark! I’m so confused ha xxx

@chloedancer897 this was my two when I ovulated and fell pregnant. I never get a positive on OPKs for some reason. Whether I miss it by a small margin I’m not sure x

I'm taking a massive step back this month, didn't want to just disappear. I found it tough towards the end of this last cycle and now going into this one.

@HappyVibes I was just having a look at your OPKs and none of them look like a peak yet. I would keep testing with cheapies as sometimes the CBD can be a bit off I've realised! But it could just be you missed a quick peak?

@chloedancer897 same for you keep testing with cheapies in case you get a peak on those. I'd hate for either of you to miss your peaks.

I'll dip in and out and keep an eye, hope everyone else is okay ❤️

@VP91x honestly, I did the same this cycle taking a step back and my goodness the difference it made is phenomenal. You do you girl and do what makes you feel best. Just know that whilst you’re away, we all are routing for you girl!

@HappyVibes that doesn’t look like a peak to me. I only have my recent PreMom OPK progression, I wasn’t taking photos when I had an early peak followed by a later stronger peak. Look how dark they get for peak on mine.... your reading says over 1.0 on PreMom but it doesn’t look dark enough to be over 1.0.

Have you still got the CB stick? You can still read that as an OPK. When you pull it out of the plastic!

@HappyVibes yes absolutely keep testing with cheapies until they start to fade again just in case CB was wrong but I found that the CB and OPK matched but better safe than sorry ❤️

@HappyVibes @RichmondLady1981 @Bl0ndi3 hi all. Can I jump on the OPK questions? Is it normal for readings to go up and down before a peak? Mine started climbing up and now has gone down again. Pic attached.

@MinnieMouse4 mine did that too lovely, stick with it and you'll see them get darker eventually!! X

@MinnieMouse4 yes it is. The specialist told me that your body can sometimes need a couple of surges to kick start ovulation. Sometimes the first surge isn’t enough and ovulation doesn’t happen. Then after a couple of days it will try again. So you have to keep using OPKs until you get a very dark line AND static smile from the CB. Doing both helps you pinpoint ovulation more accurately. If you then see a temp rise you’ll know for SURE that you’ve ovulated. BBT measuring if a great way to CONFIRM that ovulation has happened.

@HappyVibes the test on CD17 morning is definitely not a peak. I think the app did not recognize the T line properly. You may need to adjust the slider to make sure its position matches the T/C line.

And I was told the background of the test could affect the reading, it requests a white solid background. So I lay it on a tissue while shooting.

Hi everyone! Sorry to drop in so randomly like this. Those of you on the July/August threads might remember me as a very whiny, self-pitying lady who had my first (chemical) pregnancy back in July. At the time the words you all gave me made me feel normal again, even though at the time I felt like there must be something so wrong with me, something that couldn't be fixed (I know, very dramatic). My cycles are also very long and unpredictable.

I've been feeling so period-y all week, and took a test mid-morning at 13dpo just to confirm I wasn't pregnant. Only got the SHOCK OF MY LIFE! I NEVER thought I could get a line this clear. I've been having the month from hell, and even if this one doesn't stick, to know that I CAN be pregnant, that I can see a BFP like this is the best thing ever.

Though I've been lurking, I've seen every joy and heartbreak on this thread. I want you to know that if I have been with you every step of the way, and I wish you all the kind of surprise I've had today. Not sure how much work I'm going to get done for the rest of the day
