Hi Guys,

My cycles are so long and irregular, some 35days some 60days, ive been to the doctors and have had an ultrasound to check to cysts (came back normal). Ive been TTC since last June, i'm a super anxious person and obviously thinking worse case scenario - i'm just wondering if anybody else has found themselves in the same situation or if there was anything i can say to the GP to get their help? (ive been 5/6 times but don't seem too interested) - i'm only 20yrs old, maybe why they're not interested?

Hi @Flower3411.

I would recommend Agnus Castus to regulate your cycles. 20mg/day. I used to be like this now my cycles have settled around 35 days.

I had 35-day cycles, minimum, plotted a temperature chart so I knew when I was ovulating and conceived both my babies pretty much to plan. I scored the first one on first attempt in fact, so try not to worry.
Good luck!

@jenthelibrarian @NoCallerID
thanks for the replies guys, i'm currently on cycle day 31 and got a blazing positive OPK yesterday and today, so i guess thats something at least. Never knew i could ovulate this late into a cycle haha. I guess doing OPKs and tracking a bit more will be helpful! thanks for the advice :)

@flower341 hey, I had super wrong and irregular cycles, I've started taking soy isoflavones the past three months and it has regulated my ovulation date t0 between 19-24 before that I could go 50/60 day cycles! X

Flower3411 · 15/09/2020 19:21

@AnxiousAnnie86 thats good! i've heard really good things about them, but then again some bad things too. Do you use OPKs at all?

@Flower3411 I haven't had any side effects I don't think, I take them at night before bed, and it's definitely regulated my cycles to within about 5 days..... I do use opks yeah, I use clear blue digital advanced xxx

Flower3411 · 15/09/2020 20:33

@AnxiousAnnie86 i use those OPKs too - had too many high days this month and they're so expensive when your cycle can be 60 days lol. I had a peak OPK yesterday and today at cycle day 30 - didn't realise i can ovulate this late? thought i wasn't going to ovulate this month! xx

@Flower3411 they do get crazy expensive! I've had 15 high days before! Also I didn't ovulate until day 72 back in Jan!! But I wasn't using the digital then just the cheapies xx
