Hi all I was wondering if anyone who has experienced implantation bleeding could describe or explain how it was and did it differ to aunty flow?

I ask as today 9dpo I have some pinkish on my panty liner. I also had sore boobs 7dpo but nothing else. I think potentially it is my period but as it's early I wondered if it could be implantation.
I have no other symptoms but I also never get any symptoms of aunty flow either so tbh my body seems to operate in silence!

After I got caught with my son I had pinkish blood when my period was supposed to arrive! Knew it wasn’t right so I took a test and found out I was pregnant 😊

I had implantation bleeding with my pregnancy last year. A few days before my period was due I had really small amounts of blood on toilet paper when I wiped and occasionally a few small drops in my underwear. It lasted about two or three days and was bright red in colour. I also had really quite intense cramping, similar to period cramping but a bit more pressure like. Almost like someone was sat on my uterus, haha. The cramping was 24/7 from there on out.

AF for me is usually really heavy. I had the cramping that I would expect before AF, but next to no bleeding when it was due. Only JUST about enough to require a panty liner which was very very strange for me.

Small amounts of pinkish blood sounds like it very well could be implantation bleeding though! About right time-wise too :)

I had dark brown blood just one wipe of the tissue, about 12 DPO. This time around I’ve had three days of light dark brown bleeding but suspect this may be a chemical rather than a sustained pregnancy because the bleeding was heavier (but still lighter than my normal period, and dark brown). It only stopped two days ago so still testing daily to see...

Hi @slpx**@notalwaysalondoner@Elinaeo thanks for all your insight and it sounds like it can vary person to person. Unfortunately for me it wasn't implantation as 2 days later af arrived which was very disappointing. I do think perhaps there is some concerns as spotting at 9dpo shows a very short luteal phase but I just feel like I can't keep worrying about everything and just have to try and be hopeful.
Glad to hear about your positive experiences and I'm sorry about your chemical pregnancy @notalwaysalondoner.
