Faint positive or evap lines? Help!

Hi,
So I got a copper IUD placed just over a month ago.
About a week ago I started to feel unwell - Nausea and fatigued. Bad period like cramps which were like those that I had when I was previously pregnant. Sore boobs too.
I wanted to put it down to IUD and my hormones sorting themselves out and potential upcoming period, but if I am pregnant with an IUD I need to know. So I took two tests, one yesterday and one today and got these really faint lines... If I am pregnant I wouldn't be far along. Probs 1-4 weeks. Do they look like positive lines or evaps??? :/ I really don't want to believe my IUD failed me only one month in. I will be so upset.
Photos - top icky gross one is yesterdays, bottom today's.Took them out of casing today to get a better look:

Thanks

It's hard to say. They do look like they have a bit of colour to them, which would make me think positive rather then evap. But you're not supposed to take them out the casing as that invalidates them. Are you able to get hold of a pink dye test (blue dye are bad for evaps) and test again tomorrow? The clear and simple tests are supposed to be quite good and it's 2 for £1 at B&M.

Ah, I didn't know that. They looked coloured but I couldn't tell for sure so took them out, wasn't aware that ruined them. There aren't any pink dye ones at the local shop unfortunately. There are digital ones though. But I heard digital ones are less sensitive and are less able to test early?

Thanks for your input x

I'm sure we've all been guilty of taking them out the cases at some point! Yeah digitals are a fair bit less sensitive. Fingers crossed you get some answers soon x

So managed to find a pink dye - morrisons brand. Came up negative. Not sure when would be best to do the other test in the pack.
Its hard because I have no idea when I ovulated or if I even have yet :/ Switched from implant to iud 5 weeks ago. Bled for 3 weeks (very heavily) after having iud put in and then the heavy bleeding stopped all of a sudden almost 2 weeks ago and I've been ill for a week. Just seems very suspicious imo :/ I got obvious pregnancy symptoms super early in my last pregnancy too, at about 7dpo.

Took the second morrisons pink dye test this morning. This time positive from the looks of things. Again... Another really faint line. So confused right now. How long should I wait to retest? A few days, a week? Last time I was pregnant it was a clear positive, the faint lines are confusing me. Sad Don't know what to think!

@Elinaeo I think HCG doubles every 48 hours so maybe try again in a few days and should be more obvious if it's positive

OK, thank you x

Hi I took mine out of case to get a better look and 2 diff brands came up positive. I then got 5 BFN not opening then and my AF showed today.
To add to the weirdness in the past when I took my test apart jt turned positive and I was pregnant !! Bloody baffling!! Xx

How strange! Wish that the tests made it easy to tell and weren't so vague sometimes. Either way bought a digital one for later this week which can at least give an easy to understand answer. It's all driving me a bit insane, haha.
