Faint positive after heavy bleed?

I posted yesterday I think with a opk, but I decided to do a pregnancy test today, don’t know but just been feeling a bit icky. There was a faint positive. I’m confused as I’m on CD19, and my period last month was very heavy, which isn’t normal for me. I have pcos and I know this can cause heavy periods but like I said this isn’t the norm for me. Has anyone else experienced something like this? Have you had a bleed then turned out to be pregnant? I’m baffled 🤯

Why did you do a test after a bleed?

The bleed was 2 weeks ago, I’ve been feeling quite sick lately and bloated so thought I’d do a test out of curiosity:/

@Lauren122 have you got a picture of the test? Could it be an evap or is it definitely positive? I don't want to worry you but I had a bleed that I thought was a period, tested positive about 10 days later (I just felt pregnant!) and it was unfortunately an ectopic. Hopefully it's just an evap x

Not a very good photo can barely see anything but it’s there in person, I understand everyone might not see it so I won’t be offended. It’s just strange as my period isn’t for another 2 weeks

@Lauren122 I'd say that's an evap / negative test. I think the ICs are known for it unfortunately - have you taken another to compare?

@lauren122 I don't see a line, it could just be the pic is too small on my screen though. I agree with the PP, can you grab a FRER and test again with your morning wee.

As a side note: I thought you handled the rather nosey question as to why you were testing after a bleed very well. Sometimes people don't realise there are real humans behind these posts... I personally find it so intrusive and rude, it's really none of anyone's business why you tested.

I’ve just done another test and it came up with this, going to wait a few days I think then do a FRER, Thankyou ladies for your replies and opinions
