Soy isoflavones/ COQ10 delay ovulation

Hi all

Just wondering if anyone has had a delay with ovulation after taking coq10 or soy isoflavones. This is my first cycle trying them.

Cd18 is normally ovulation for me. However my cm is far from fertile and opk is extremely faint. Absolutely no sign of ovulating.

Any feedback or insight i would appreciate. Thanks

Yes this cycle I took soy and my ovulation was delayed by 2 days (usually cd18 too).

I took it this month and ov seems the same so far. Not used OPKs this month but tracking cm/cp.

Dizzttc · 09/09/2020 09:23

@snapple21 Did you have any other symptoms from taking them?

@Nat4392 I was trying not to use opk's this month. But I realised i wasn't getting any fertile cm so have decided to take them to see what was happening.

Feeling a little disheartened. Is it possible to take soy and not ovulate?

I ovulated later this cycle using them

@Dizzttc try evening primrose oil. I barely noticed my cm before taking them. Take them from cd1 to ov. After a couple of cycles I noticed much more cm x

@Nat4392 ive been using epo since April however this cycle its made no difference. Im assuming im not ovulating this cycle at this point. Still no signs cd20

Just wanted to give a quick update. I’ve tried soy the first time this month (cycle 14) and just got my BFP! Could be coincidental but it’s the only thing I did different this month!

Supermathsdoc · 20/09/2020 10:22

I’ve been taking coQ10 for 2 months and ovulated CD17 this month previously had been regularly CD14. But I also had a chemical pregnancy last month so I thought it was more likely due to that (which then delayed AF)

Dizzttc · 20/09/2020 11:15

@Nat4392 congratulations. What days did you take them?

@Supermathsdoc

I eventually ovulated cd26 which is 8/9 days later than normal. Currently 4dpo.

Keeping my fingers crossed

Good luck x
