12dpo frer... tmi

So I'm 12dpo. I took a frer this morning but when I sat down to pee I felt something come out. When I looked in the toilet there was a small brown thing and a few other brown bits. Any idea what it could be? I've never experienced it before.

The test was negative.

Start of AF? Brown is usually old blood, quite common at the start of AF. Or possible implantation

@wannabebump AF not due for 4 days and I'm usually on time. Haven't had any bleeding since. I guess time will tell. Thanks.

Sounds like some early spotting to me, could be a cycle where you've had low progesterone which causes the lining to start breaking down early or could be an implantation bleed. If it's the former, wait until your first day of red blood before 5pm to start your cycle day 1 again, spotting doesn't count for cycle tracking.
