Just looking for a little advice/recommendations on acupuncture for fertility, anyone tried it? What's the cost? Where to go?

If anyone else is in the county Durham area that could recommend somewhere that would be great 😊

I’ve just started having it; I am using a therapist I found on the Zita West website. It costs £60 a session (which lasts about an hour), already she gives a discount if you book and pay for a block of sessions at once.

It's too soon to say whether it's made a difference, but I am finding it very relaxing and it's helping with my anxiety, as well as making me feel like I'm doing something proactive towards getting pregnant, so I would recommend it for that if nothing else.

@itssquidstella sounds like it will be worth trying then! Thank you xx

Hi. I had 4 sessions last cycle and got my positive. It was cycle 14. May just be a coincidence Grin. Its costs £35 for 45 mins where I live (wales) but others pay up to £65 i think. Doesn't work for everyone from what I've read so please don't think it's a miracle cure but if you can afford it I'd give it a go. If anything it helped relax me and help me feel in control x

I had acupuncture after I had a coil removed and hadn't got my period back. She helped my periods return and then I got pregnant first cycle. Would definitely recommend but find someone with fertility experience - I'm in London so my recommendation wouldn't be helpful. Good luck

I've had acupuncture for the past 4 cycles I think and no sign of a positive. It has helped stress wise and I think if you have pms or AF issues then it helps. I don't have either so can't say sorry. I'm £60 a session and have found it to be relaxing and good for my muscles/tension/stress but no results fertility wise 🤷🏼‍♀️
