Could I be pregnant?

Please can someone shed some light:
We have been TTC for more than 18 months now and I have a regular 28 max 29 day cycle.
I had a positive ovulation test on day 15 of my cycle and now I am currently 6 days late.
I have done several pregnancy tests all of which have been negative 🥺☹️
Does anyone have any idea what might be going on?

Unfortunately if you're still getting negatives I think that sounds like you're not pregnant.

Instead I wonder if you may have ovulated later - sometimes the LH surge doesn't result in an egg being released, so it might try again a few days later. I got 3 peak results last month. Only bbt can confirm ovulation so if you aren't tracking that really recommend for next cycle.

Sorry I know how disappointing this is - I had it a couple of months ago.

When you get negative feedback from other people made me think that too

@Mandy29 it's a bit more polite to start a separate thread as opposed to hijacking someone else's thread especially without acknowledging the question the original poster raised. Congratulations as that does appear to be a BFP, I'm wishing you a safe pregnancy Smile

Oh come on. Surely you must know that, that is a positive and not an evaporation line!!

Hi @Cocoloco90 the advice @RMarieClaire gave is spot on - it sounds like you had a lutenising hormone surge but didn't ovulate. This is perfectly normal and can happen several times in a cycle before the egg is released (nothing to worry about) but a bit annoying for those using OPKs as there's no confirmation whether the surge was successful or not. Hopefully you'll get an answer soon, either way you're not out yet

Mandy29 · 08/09/2020 12:38

The true Reason why I did that cause I delt myself as I have been told I can't get pregnant
