No period but BFN

Morning everyone
AF was due Fri/Sat but so far no sign - usually like clockwork however I have tested up to yesterday and all tests are negative, I tested yesterday with a clear blue early detection digital and nothing. I was really moody on Friday night & had slight period pains so thought AF was definately make an appearance on saturday morning but so far not even any spotting - do I keep testing? Really confused why my period is late as this doesnt usually happen to me and with all tests coming back negative I can't work out what is going on down there!
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks all xxx

Hi there , I know the feeling , I think sometimes our bodies just decide to act weird for no reason , perhaps you ovulated late this month and it's too early to test or period is just late for a couple of days , the thing is , pregnancy and period signs are practically identical it's so annoying, i would say the best thing to do is wait till you are about a week late then to start testing x

I've just had the same, AF was 4 days late when I've never had a late period before. If it escalates passed 2 weeks maybe see your gp

@hopefully2021- I’m exactly the same!! :( 18 days dpo, had the worst cramp last night & sure I’d wake up to AF - nothing yet!! It was due Friday/Saturday. It’s never this late & all the tests are negative. Let me know how you get on, hopefully we are put out our misery soon! 😊

Thanks everyone @MJM1608 - I had a hot water bottle last night hoping that might make it come quicker, been to the gym this morning but still nothing! I've just done a cheap tesco test and still negative - no idea why I'm so late this month just want to be put out of my misery so I can start another month of trying!xxx

still no sign, called the doctors this morning as I was diagnosed with pcos quite a few years ago & the doctor at the time said to get back in contact when I was ready to start trying for a baby so they could do some more tests, calling me back next week & if no period still he is going to put a plan in place to start arranging some tests to check if everything is okay xxx

@hopefully2021 hope you get your answer soon! To give you some hope - I had negative tests as I mentioned before and today at 19dpo I got a bfp. I had really bad cramps and all the tests were negative until today. I used a FRER - was shocked to see two lines. Not out until AF arrives as they say - sending you love!! xxx

Did you have any symptoms? I have been feeling sick and really tired - ended up taking a break from work today and having an afternoon nap which is really not like me (lucky I'm still working from home) and had one yesterday evening so something is definately not right plus just feel sad all the time xxx

@hopefully2021 I won’t believe it until I see it on a digital test (hopefully tomorrow morning!) as it’s weird to only get a positive 19days dpo!

I actually feel normal except I did have a nap yesterday but can’t tell if it’s because I can’t sleep thinking about what’s going on with my body! Your body is deffo telling you something, please keep me updated, really hope it’s good news for you this month!! xx

It's so frustrating isn't it, I keep going to the toilet to wipe myself just to see if I can see the faintest sign of blood but literally nothing at all!
Thank you, I hope so too but getting negatives at this point doesnt give me much hope xxx

@hopefully2021 it was positive - thanks for asking!! I now feel horrendous today after a bad nights sleep, like I’ve been hit by a bus 😂 wonder its because I know now & i’m picking up more symptoms.

How are you? Any sign? Are you using FRERs? I had some spotting yesterday (will be 5 weeks) but apparently that’s normal. I have everything crossed for you xxx

Still no period for me, I keep feeling like I am coming on but not even the faintest bit of blood still - I am going to pick up some tests today but I honestly dont think I am, when was you due on & when did you get your first positive again?xxx

Totally in shock and not sure what to do with myself now 😂 that’s how I felt & still feel like I can feel blood but nothing there, hopefully a good sign for you! ❤️ I was due on last Friday & didn’t get my positive until yesterday (6 days late). @MJM1608 try and relax hun & take it all in - you have definately made me feel better, I really hope I get good news too or at least just have a period so I can start another month of trying! I was due on last Friday/Sat too, have you been testing first thing in the morning? Going to test tomorrow morning then if negative, I'll test again on Tuesday morning as my doctor is calling me for a follow up and has said to test in the morning so we can rule it out xxx

Aww thank you ❤️ Your brain just goes 1000mph!! Really not how I expected my day to go yesterday 😂 I know what you mean - it’s that limbo land where you don’t know what’s going on!! No AF is hopefully a good sign though! I actually tested yesterday about 12pm but usually do FMU. Hope you get some answers!!

We actually paid for a fertility MOT and my hubby’s appointment was an hour before the test, thought I’d take it just incase & it was bloody positive!! We just paid £500 if you didn’t laugh you’d cry 😅😅 xxx

OMG no way!! I've been googling those - where did you book yours? how long have you been TTC?

Ahh really hope it’s a good outcome for you!! Which test are you buying? I’m in Scotland so there’s 2 local to me, only been TTC 7 months but we thought since we can afford to pay why not get a general health check. She has now transferred my check up appt to a 7 week scan which is amazing since we have paid already!

Other symptoms.. bad dreams lol! Peeing lots, feeling slightly nauseous and thinking I was going to be sick during work outs! You feeling anything? ❤️

awww @hopefully2021, kinda same boat as u, just haven;t actually tested yet. Was due Monday, but figured sometimes something throws them awry so tried not to get convinced it might be something other than AF just being late.
Weird @MJM1608 I had some v v weird dreams earlier in the week, disturbing actually haha. is that a strange symptom u can get?!
so ive just been to buy a test, so think i might test later and put myself out misery either way! congrats on your BFP by the way, thanks for putting your other post up, defo gives people hope!!

@MJM1608 thank you, fingers crossed! I used a pack of 3 clear blue and then 2 cheap tesco branded tests but didn't always test in the morning - I tested yesterday afternoon on a tesco test but wasn't a strong wee & of course came back negative, I'm going to pick up some First response today for the morning xxx
Thats amazing news! at least you don't have too wait too long either to have piece of mind that everything is okay with the bubba
thats funny, that was one of my symptoms all last week - kept having very vivid dreams, I usually can't really remember my dreams but was waking up and having to tell myself that the dreams didnt really happen but they have stopped now, hopefully its a sign! I've been peeing lots too but don't know if I'm just over thinking and making myself go constantly xxx

@leftitlate37 have you had any symptoms or you feeling anything? I just keep feeling like I'm coming on my period got very faint cramps - have you been out to buy any tests yet? I'm going to test in the morning as that should give me a clear answer, wishing you all the best! I'm hoping we all get good news this month xxx

hi @hopefully2021! yes same, just feel like AF due any moment but not...so far! had really really sore boobs for the last 2 weeks, but sometimes I do, sometimes i dont...but am surprised about how painful they are and how long been going on for. and like u just faint cramps really, and sore back...but often have that! it just could all reasonably point to AF coming! oh and just 2 nights of v v vivid and weird dreams!!
i got some tests earlier yeah, argh...dont need a wee yet (which is unlike me haha)...does it need to be a specific time of day?! daren even look at instructions yet! really keeping everything crossed for us! so u going to wait to test again til tomorrow?? x

@leftitlate37 your symptoms sound promising! I haven't had the sore boobs but thats apparently one of the main symptoms if you are pregnant, strange that we have all had the vivid dreams - mine were petty much everyday all of last week - well if your passed your due period then you can test at any time of the day as long as you haven't had excessive liquids, I'm just holding out until tomorrow as that will be a week late so should definately be given the right answer - I expect it to be negative but @MJM1608 is giving me hope at the moment

@hopefully2021 I’ve read on here the tesco tests aren’t very reliable so don’t feel down about those negatives!

I’ve read that dreams are a symptom! How funny, maybe it’s a good sign for you both!! Got my 7 week scan privately booked for 2 weeks today eek. Let me know how the testing goes!!🤞🏼🤞🏼 xxx

oooo exciting re private scan, thats ace!! whats the deal at the mo, is private the only way u can get OH there too or NHS allowing with covid etc now? hope the 2 weeks doesnt feel like the TWW and take forever...!x
