Ovulation has it happened?

Hi all
I am using ovulation strips and noted a high level on Tuesday, and cervical mucus was egg white. Fermometer app only recorded it as high and not peak, although it looked quite dark to me.
I then had some small pains on the Tuesday night and thought they were ovulation pains. Since then my opk on Wednesday and today has been lower. So although I didn't catch a peak on Tuesday is it safe to assume I ovulated on Tuesday or is the next day ie Wednesday? It shouldn't matter in the grand scheme but if it Wednesday then we should dtd today but know hubby is finding this exhausting. Any insight would be helpful

Hi @Pinklilly It is very possible that you had your LH peak on Tuesday night, and if strong enough then you might ovulate 12-48 hours afterwards. Which would mean you have most likely ovulated by now, but you could try one last time just in case.

I would say that you most probably ovulated on Wednesday so try and dtd tonight to have the best chance to catch the egg x

@Pinklilly my DH is also finding this exhausting, DTD in such regimented fashion sure does suck the fun out of it doesn't it? Personally, I've never used the OPK with the lines, I use the CB 4-day digital ones, the Clue app, and my CM as indicators. One thing I've found to help with DH is to attack him first thing in the morning ;-) It has definitely seemed to help him. We've gone from DTD once, maybe twice, during my fertile window to 4+ times. We've managed every other day during the week before ovulation this month, and will hit the day of ovulation (which should be today, but I don't feel it's happening) and plan to do it once more a couple of days after my LH surge too... I have a feeling I'm going to ovulate late this month! If it doesn't happen for you this try, there's always next month.

@jazzibelle thanks that's such a good idea and actually he is a much better morning lover. Tbh I have found it draining as I feel I have to both motivate him and myself which makes it harder. I haven't ever used clearblue if I'm not successful perhaps I can try this one. We haven't DTD today and tbh I haven't pushed it. He's done really well this month and today is day after potential ovulation so I think it's okay if we've missed it and fingers crossed the other days have worked. Good luck to you too!
