Tracking ovulation with PCOS - any use in opks?

Hi all, hoping for people in the same boat as me! I am trying to track my ovulation following a miscarriage in Jan. I have some features of PCOS (cystic ovaries and an LH:FSH ratio that is SOMETIMES reversed, plus slightly irregular periods- sometimes they are Roughly monthly and sometimes they are Up to 60 day cycles). Fertility Doctors have told me They cant Absolutely confirm A diagnosis of PCOS based on my symptoms.

I have tracked temperature for the last year and this has been really helpful.

I am currently in one if the cycles that looks like it Is going to be long, I have not had a bbt rise at day 34 of cycle. Long story short, in order to predict ovulation (rather than just confirm it with BBT after it happens) I have been using opks for the last month. I have had several surges - I have started using premom to read the opks and I get ratios of over 2 at times which seems to be high. I do get very negative results just after period etc so there is SOME change throughout the cycle. Does anyone else have PCOS / high LH who has found any use in opks or should I give up? Thanks!

@Bumblebee999 have you tried the quantitative ovulation test? I heard this test strip is better for PCOS, and the premom app can read their own branded quantitative test as well.

@Louisa199 thanks so much for the reply! I haven’t tried them or even heard of them before so thank you I will try them.

I also have PCOS and under fertility clinic. I have never had a positive ovulation test until this week. I had a MC in June and am hoping to fall pregnant by this. I've been taking folic acid but nothing else. I don't have typical symptoms of PCOS, just irregular periods from 44 days to 80 plus!
