one positive one negative?

Day period due, I did a one step mid stream pregnancy that came out positive. I then immediately tried a clear blue digital test that came out negative. Do you think the first test was a false positive? Or could I get a false negative because I didnt really need to pee when I did the clear blue? Thanks!

The digital tests are less sensitive than the normal tests especially when testing before missed period, so if you are testing early it's most likely you're pregnant. I would retest in 2 days if you can hold off.
