Bleeding after stopping mini pill?

Hi all
(Possibly TMI)

I came off the pill 3 days ago and have been bleeding bright red for two days is this normal?
(It was also the mini pill I was on)

Yes, I had some odd spotting that was bright red then a heavy first period 3.5 weeks later.

I was confused as it's the same flow as AF would be x

Yeah it's all normal. Your cycles/AF will likely go a bit bonkers for the next 3-6 months so just pre warning you 😊
I had really sore breasts, loads of cramps, nausea, headaches, exhaustion during the tww for the first few months. I assume my hormones were balancing out.
Most people seem to report a 'withdrawal bleed' immediately after stopping the mini pill and then AF within six weeks of that. 😊

I have cramps, nausea and tender breast so that's reassuring to hear! X
