Well af has finally arrived this afternoon! Think I will order a thermometer and track bbt for cycle 4! Trying everything lol even DH had said he doesn't mind trying preseed too, so will be ordering that as well

So nice to see your little jellybean is growing nicely @2alreadywantanother. Im sure the bleed would have given you a scare but it's good they scanned you early and you're getting another in 2 weeks for peace of mind. 😊

@Minster2012 yeay for things moving along! All your timings seem to be falling in nicely for you too. Sending all the positive vibes in the world your way, im really rooting for you that this round of IVF is your turn to be successful 🤞

@2020mission if it makes you feel any better the month I conceived my son (after a year of trying) I had given up and wasnt expected a positive so went to a party and got extremely drunk, as in shots of tequila and mixing drinks all night at 6dpo and got a bfp the very next day at only 7dpo, I was being so sick I thought it was a hangover till it went on for a bit too long the next day and I did a test. If you dont think you'll be able to relax for worrying then the glass of wine won't be worth it but if you think you can relax then go for it, it may be your last glass for 9months! Plus is red wine not supposed to be good for implantation, im sure someone posted studies about that before.....or maybe I'm just wishful thinking that it is 😂

Haven't been tracking as such. Counted ovulation as cd 14 and usually literally phase is 14 days and period arrives 14 dpo. Thats where I'm getting dates.

This is a good positive though considering period not due until the 10th. Maybe last af was an implantation bleed. Have had symptoms for a while tbh that don't coincide with dates eg before I would have implanted this cycle if that makes sense?

@2020mission I was on holiday so had a pint for 2nights in a row and a gin one night, then got my BFP and had a glass of red that night 😳 Basically it doesn't share your blood that early so I didn't feel guilty. Every other month I hadn't touched alcohol so I think it helped 🙈

Haha @blodyn91 typical but it's good you got your last hoorah before 9 months of none! I'm not worried about an embryo taking in any alcohol right now, just the risk of it leading to miscarriage 😬 although I used the IC before having wine tonight just to make sure nothing had happened and it was so white that I'm now convinced I'm out this month anyway! I give up 😂

I have my 9 week private scan on Sunday and we are telling OH parents afterwards obviously providing everything goes well so will be an emotional afternoon/evening! Still can't quite decide whether I'm excited or nervous, it makes me feel extra nauseous thinking about the scan 🤢

Hi All! I missed the August group! Had a bit of a nightmare going back and forth to doctors for bloods and scans. All my tests seem normal and now hospital refusing more scans even though my GP is requesting. I am ttc cycle 5 now miscarriage beginning of march. I didnt think I was ovulating but I've got some interesting wondfo tests. They seem to be positive in afternoon and negative in evening.....fingers crossed

Also forgot to mention I had a 23 day period! No idea what it was neither does my GP......

@2020mission my first IC was stark white, thats why I had those pints guilt free 😉🤞 for you!!

Anyone make any sense of my opks for me? And can anyone tell me if day 21 bloods are useless if they are done at the wrong time? With irregular cycles can they tell you anything?

@Katao when did they take day 21 bloods, looks like you might get your peak tonight! / have already. What times did you take them today?

I am considering taking the test tonight, how long would I need to hold wee for that? It might not be possible, or might be a better idea to just do it in the morning

@Franklydear I always get a better result in the evening strangely enough but its totally up to you.

@Catherinettc how long to hold? I go to the loo a lot, sometimes I go to the loo in the night, especially when nervous, so fmu might not be so

@Minster2012 love the nails and glad you are starting the IVF and that you haven’t had to give anything away to MIL before your ready.

@Juno231 also love your nails, but sorry to hear your body is messing with you. Mine for once has been proper AF since this morning so hoping this will be a normal period and can get back in the game.

@blodyn91 do you think? They were all taken afternoon and evening so the last one was a couple of hours ago. Haven't done 21 day bloods yet, doing them this cycle but wondering should I push them on a couple of days as didn't think I had ovulated yet, cd14today. Thought Tuesday might have been peak but then after one low the got darker again.

• sorry Wednesday I meant. The afternoon one Wednesday was pretty dark

@Catherinettc that looks like a lovely line on FRER 🥰 if CB weeks says 1-2 weeks that is 7-14dpo which sounds perfect for where you think you are considering you weren't tracking exactly 🙌🏾 so exciting x

@Katao I'd say you a nearing peak that last opk looks super strong 👌🏾

@Franklydear how far into your cycle are you? I'd say if you think you are around AF due time you'll be fine testing in the evening, 🤞 xx

@SmileyT I am 5 days late, but had some spotting last weekend so a bit nervous, problem is I go to the loo every half hour, I’ve been holding since 7, I am very unsure as wether to expect a negative, also will be testing at the end of next weekend as that would be the two weeks doc wanted me to wait since the bfn after spotting, so this is just my paranoia and wanting to know, the symptoms are going nowhere, I wonder if it could actually be ovulation instead

Today would be cd 33, usually 25/26 days cycles
