Harder to conceive after missed miscarriage?

Hi. I had a missed miscarriage and an ERPC at the beginning of July. I've been trying to conceive ever since I had my first period afterwards but so far it hasn't happened. On the one had, that has only been two cycles, but on the other - I fell with both our dd and my last pregnancy first time of trying. So I feel that this is quite unusual for me, IYSWIM. I know that women commonly don't start to ovulate straight after giving birth, but I went pretty much stright onto the mini-pill after I had dd, so I don't know how long it would have taken my cycles to start up again. And I do seem to be back to a 28-day cycle again. Is it common to not ovulate for a while after a missed miscarriage? I suppose that I could start weeing on sticks, it is just that that seems to be taking all the fun out of it .

poor you
I think you just have to wait for your body to decide when it's ready.
I understand your impatience and frustration, I've been there many times.
I've hd pregnancies that were conceived immediately after missed miscarriages and those that took a a couple of months.
Try not to obsess over it if possible. It will happen soon I'm sure

Hi - firstly poor you about the missed m/c. Having had 2 of them seen at 9 and 14 weeks I think they actually the toughest form of mc to deal with. They come as such a huge shock don't they as there are no obvious signs anything is wrong until you get to the scan. I hope you are getting over it OK. With me I conceived 3 months after each ERPC, but I was weeing on sticks and the first 2 cyles I know I did not ovulate. Have a 15 month old son and now 8 weeks pregnant again after last ERPC in June. Good luck!
