BBT & OPK Help Please!

I am so confused! Measurements are always taken as soon as I wake and all around the same time give or take 20 minutes.. after my temp today my ovulation date has changed to a few days ago however I had negative OPKs then!? I got my peak yesterday and the day it’s saying I ovulated was negative and I tested more than once.

Do I trust the OPKs or the BBT!? Gah.. this is so damn confusing! My temps are so weird this month!

Do you want to share your chart as well? That might help...

Few different things can effect bbt. My chart was illogical the month a conceived dd! I'd assume you're ovulating today or tomorrow - you may well see another rise.

Remember the apps are just algorithms and can't know all the nuances of your body

Hi @Littlebee1990 I highly advise you put all of the information you have into the Fertility Friend app (FF Mobile) it has better algorithms and it is much easier to read when you ovulated.

I forgot to say, its a free app (although you can pay for extra if you really like it)

@Kay00 I actually use FF too and tbh that doesn’t think I’ve ovulated yet (Attached for you).. just never had a chart this up and down!

Hi @Littlebee1990 no, perhaps your temperature will shoot up again tomorrow morning. Or perhaps this LH surge has just been a surge and did not result in ovulation. It might mean you get a second LH surge later in the month (this happens to me), so keep testing!

@Littlebee1990 you definitely haven't ovulated yet per the temps - but potentially it's happening today or tomorrow and the next 3 days temps will confirm it. I'd just ignore femometer, I find their algorithms really unreliable.

Although I'd def use femometer for the OPK function - way better than sticking them in a notebook

@Littlebee1990 ahhh I'm so sorry, I hadn't seen that there was another one attached. I don't think you have ovulated yet according to your temps. I'm not familiar with either apps but might be worth putting a cover line in (if that's an option) and you'll be able to see it a bit easier. So fingers crossed your temp will go up tomorrow/day after. Any chance that one high one on CD19 is questionable? Either way, if you can try and DTD again today 🤞🏼

@Juno231 Hahaha I use the fermometer thing for OPKs but convinced myself last month that I messed that up so went for the manual approach this cycle 🤣🤣
