@MichT4 @chloedancer897 that’s completely understandable for you to feel like this as it’s so hard and emotional TTC. It feels like we are on a hamster wheel and life is ticking away outside of the hamster wheel & desperate to get off it. But until we get the BFP & bambino in our arms we can’t get off ha. What a weird analogy that I just described lmfao. Dunno where that came from pmsl.

I feel like when you don’t get that BFP or anything else is thrown in as a curve ball, it’s hard to be positive because it’s hard to move forward & onto the next as it feels like being I’m limbo. But as time goes by optimism decreases too as our mindset is learnt to protect ourselves from past experiences where we’ve been hurt.

Sometimes we need to feel those emotions and allow them - that’s our time to process them and let ourselves recharge. It’s a tough one guys! We are all made of tough stuff though so we can do this & get our BFPs just like everyone else 💓💓💓

MichT4 · 04/09/2020 07:51

@HappyVibes 😂😂 love they analogy!

You're right, it's important to allow all emotions, in order to move on. We all definitely can do this.....the sooner the better please! x

BEESY90 · 04/09/2020 08:00

Hello everyone. Sorry for being so quiet. After my dealings with the demon at maternity triage and useless gp I came down with almighty migraine (vomiting and all) from the stress and it lasted 48 hours. I have never been so poorly.
I had my scan yesterday and all is well?! And he has got so much bigger! They can see an area of bleed though but apparently it is something that just happens sometimes and will bleed out or reabsorb into the lining. They were so kind after the demons that man the phones! I hope everyone is well I will catch up on the thread now x

HappyVibes · 04/09/2020 08:07

Ah I know @MichT4ginna have one of those mornings of allowing myself those feels I think.

Last time, this is exactly what we did - tested early got BFN. Two days later tested again and got our BFP. So we will probably wait till Sunday now to test again.

I knowwwww Mich! Arrrrrr we will blooming get there. It’s good that they’ve submitted the referral and that you can ring EPU too after the weekend. I’m glad that they’re not just leaving you in limbo.

Xxxx

HappyVibes · 04/09/2020 08:09

@BEESY90 oh my goodness this is so so amazing to hear from you with such magical and amazing news. I am absolutely over the moon for you lovely. This is literally a sign that you are a strong independent woman who can do this! I am so absolutely ecstatic for you girl. This is the most uplifting news this morning, sending you lots of virtual hugs 💓💓💓

chloedancer897 · 04/09/2020 08:11

@MichT4 @HappyVibes you guys are so inspirational. I love the positivity. Please post little quotes like that every day!!!

@BEESY90 what amazing news! I'm so glad everything is ok but what an absolutely nightmare for you to have gone through. I would put in a complaint if I was you. The medical staff are of the opinion that they can't stop a MC so what's the point of doing tests but they neglect to remember that we are people who are suffering and need answers regardless of whether anything can be done or not. So glad to hear baby is growing well too xo

MichT4 · 04/09/2020 08:18

Yes @BEESY90 !! That's amazing news! I'm so happy for you, and also hope you are feeling much better now.
I think the issue is definitely with the reception staff, they think they have way too much power and control and ultimately, they need to allow people access to the care they need. I hate that think @chloedancer897 that they say it's early so can't do anything! People still need support. I get they can't physically do anything but leaving women to just get more and more anxious isn't the answer.

Anyway @BEESY90 I'm so delighted to hear this news. Look after yourself.

@HappyVibes good plan to wait til Sunday. And yeah it's good I've been referred, just hope I get a pleasant surprise about the wait. I'm not wishing it here too quickly though as you can't try through the investigations so I'd like the chance to try again too - if AF plays ball!!

chloedancer897 · 04/09/2020 08:23

@MichT4 I'm sorry you're stuck in limbo at the minute. I'm sure you just want AF to come so that you can start charting again. I'm hoping you get some answers soon. Did you say you were going to go privately or just wait for the referral?x

@HappyVibes I need to test before my daughters birthday because I need to mentally prepare myself for AF arriving. If I just wait, I'll become more hopeful and then I'll be miserable when it inevitably comes

MinnieMouse4 · 04/09/2020 08:26

@MichT4 l also caved and did a cheapy and got a BFN. I’m not out the running yet as AF hasn’t arrived but I have the feeling either AF/BFN is coming soon for me.

I also relate so much to what @HappyVibes said about her cycles being different after MC and not knowing what park of the cycle I am in. I just don’t know where I stand just yet.

@BEESY90 oh that is wonderful news. I am so glad everything is okay but I’m also sorry you had to go through that. Hopefully you can relax now xx

HappyVibes · 04/09/2020 08:27

Oh can you not try naturally @MichT4 omg I did not know this. Ooh yeah come on AF, hurry up little lady & then you can get a cycle in before the appointment & that’ll be your magical cycle 💫

I go for my first appointment Monday so I will keep you updated with what they say/do etc. Hopefully they do a test and are like ‘girl get gone, you’re pregnant already, cya’ haha. Xxx

MichT4 · 04/09/2020 08:35

@chloedancer897 my private medical won't cover it so for now I'll wait. If they give me some ridiculous timescales then I might just pay, but I'll give this some time first.

@HappyVibes you aren't allowed to be pregnant when they are doing the tests. So while you wait etc is fine but once they start the testing, you shouldn't really be TTC.
I also hope they chuck you out of the clinic for being a time waster 😂

@MinnieMouse4 definitely still not out. Keep the faith!

MrsK21 · 04/09/2020 09:26

@HappyVibes I had a horrid headache and vomiting last night (a CD1 or CD2 AF symptom for me) and this morning had a lot of brownish red watery spotting.
AF is due tomorrow so I think I'm out. I tested after the spotting came with a 10miu cheapie and that was a BFN. I'm not too disappointed tbh, just grateful my body has now properly bounced back and I've had a healthy first post MC cycle with my hormones settled down.
I'll see if this progresses into full AF over today / tomorrow but for now I'm taking it as a new cycle is about to start, my cycles seem a bit shorter post MC (26 days) so not too long to hang about till we can try again.

I hope @chloedancer897 @Northernsoul90 have better luck xxx

@BEESY90 so pleased to hear from you and that all is well! x

HappyVibes · 04/09/2020 09:42

@MinnieMouse4 ahhhh we are both in the same boat with our testing eek. I’m staying strong and positive that we are still in the game girl!

@MrsK21 ah blooming heck. What a way to look at it! I love that outlook you have. If this is AF that is certainly amazing that you have a shorter cycle as more chances of FW coming round sooner. That’s really good. Mine went longer post MC so 36 days I had one month 😮 So I think that’s really good news for you for sure.

Keep us updated re the AF situ. I’ll be gutted cos I’ve enjoyed you being my lil TWW buddy - but if we both go to next cycles, we are gunna be out of sync with you having shorter cycles darn ha.

💓💓💓

MrsK21 · 04/09/2020 11:27

It's definitely AF for me girls, getting red blood and some clots now so I'm officially out. Really hope one of my fellow TWW buddies get a BFP over the next few days.

@HappyVibes oh no it's rubbish we're now out of sync! My cycles seem super short now - wasn't expecting them to go this way rather than longer after my 11 weeks of no AF post MC. How strange our bodies can become! You're still in the game so got my fingers crossed for you xxx

MinnieMouse4 · 04/09/2020 11:42

@MrsK21I’m sorry that AF has arrived for you but you do have the best outlook on the situation. When AF does eventually arrive for me I think I’ll look at it that way also as it’s good to look for those silver linings to keep us going. It’s also great that your cycles are shorter too so it’s not long at all to wait for TTC again.

@HappyVibes your screen name is definitely the best one for you and your outlook too! Plus you give the best advice/support. I have everything crossed that you get your BFP this weekend. When is AF due for you?

I also have a question about ovulation - as I said I couldn’t keep up with CB OPKs that I started as I went away but I used them up to 22nd Aug and nothing so I know I didn’t ovulate until that point. I did have EWCM that day so I knew it would be round the corner for me so I did dtd before I left. My question is, if I ovulated later than predicted, does this mean AF will also come later than predicted? Xx

MichT4 · 04/09/2020 12:26

@MrsK21 sorry AF has shown her face unwanted. You have a great mindset and I'm hopeful you're back in your rhythm now.

Girls, I feel we need a boost. Aside from the weekend testers I feel a bit out of the loop (probably my/the puppies fault!)

So, where is everyone at the mo? Let's have a little update.

I'm CDinfinity (55) and waiting impatiently for AF to come so I can have my long awaited blood tests. I can't believe how happy I was when he booked them on the system and I stupidly thought I'd be having them in about a month 🙄. I believe that's Sod's law.
So there's nothing of note from me at the mo, aside from my occasional meltdown about how bloody annoying this all is.

Come on ladies, let me know what's what. Anyone else silently near testing, or having fun DTD?

Firevie · 04/09/2020 12:34

@MrsK21 sorry to hear AF is here but your outlook is good. I felt down last time but then embraced AF as means my body is back on track after mc.
@BEESY90 soooo pleased for you and your baby! Wishing you a happy and healthy 9months!
@MichT4 bless you! No update from me really since I missed ovulation as I wasn’t back home yet. So, I’m cd24 and 5dpo today. Yesterday was the first time we dtd after a month lol! That was nice just for fun! FF is predicting my AF for 14th Sept and next FW 29th sept so still a while to go. Now I’m just trying to chill as there’s nothing else I can do haha! I will have to start going back into the office from 21sept - 3 days a week. Not looking forward to commute etc. I’ve loved working from home! No stress and v food for TTC! Ah well might be nice to get a change of scenery will make the counting of TTC days go faster! Xxx

Lollol86 · 04/09/2020 12:36

@BEESY90 omg I'm so happy for you, this has literally made my day ❤️❤️

Bl0ndi3 · 04/09/2020 12:41

Hi ladies I am wondering whether any of you can help.

I am 3dpo today and I've been cramping since ovulation, not massively and not like normal cramps but like a low dull cramping sensation everyday for the last 4 days now?

It's my first cycle after MC before period so I'm wondering if it's just hormones or something 🤔🤔🤔

HopeForRainbowbaby · 04/09/2020 12:50

@BEESY90 wonderful news🥰 enjoy your beautiful baby ❤️

familybythesea · 04/09/2020 13:18

Thanks for everyone who answered/commented re: my question about testing. It's so annoying because I think now I did end up with the wrong day - basically I woke on Wednesday with what I thought was quite a lot of fresh blood and a large-ish clot (sorry TMI) and needed a couple of tampons that day. Then got tested the Thursday (as they couldn't do Friday - today - and then it was going to be the weekend). But since then its been off and on, not full flow, so I am reevaluating all my past cycles and wondering if I have been looking at them all wrong! I don't seem to get a properly flow going until after 4/5 days of spotting/very light flow - which would mean if I track it from the first day of more heavy flow I would be ovulating on day 14/15 rather than 18/19 as I thought and still have a 28/29 cycle, with 4/5 days of spotting beforehand. I'm not sure that really changes a lot, but it does mean I probably had my test before my period even really started.
I'm now feeling anxious about that as I don't want to wait another month to ttc if the GP says I can retest. I assume he'll be able to tell the results are out but I don't know... Feeling frustrated and a bit down about it all to be honest. I had my ultrasound scan today and luckily all seemed ok other than a small fibroid - does anyone have any experiencing of that?

@MichT4 sorry you've got the hassle of it all too - have you had your test yet, or still waiting? I will ask about progesterone.
@Wishingfornumber2 good luck with your tests - I hope you can get them on the right day.
@HE88Thank you, you've made me look at my cycle differently, which is helpful. I think it's hard to settle on a definition of spotting - I seem to have a brief light flow that then leads to a couple of days of spotting so it's confused me! I will speak to the GP about it though.

Thanks everyone for listening :)

MichT4 · 04/09/2020 14:57

@familybythesea no I'm still waiting because AF has gone awol, so I have to call to book it in on CD1. It does sound like you might still be ok time wise though if it's early AF. I'm sure they'll get what they need to from it

@Firevie nice to just be in a time where you can just chill. Annoying about work, but I actually like going in a couple of days. It's so much more of a distraction and just feel more 'me' going in. Do you have a long commute?

@Bl0ndi3 sorry, I don't get ovulation cramps or anything like that. I hope someone can help, sure there'll be some wise words soon

chloedancer897 · 04/09/2020 15:44

@MrsK21 I'm sorry AF came but what a fantastic way to look at it. Every month we get a bit more in tune with our bodies and a better understanding of how they work. This being cycle 7 million for me, I have a great idea of when I ovulate etc so it definitely helps!

@MinnieMouse4 how long have you been TTC? After ovulation, the time before your period is called the luteal phase. A normal luteal phase is 12-14 days. If you've been testing for a while you should have a rough idea of what's a normal LP for you. Mine is always 13 days.

@familybythesea maybe your periods are just light for a while with a longer bleed? It's worthwhile mentioning to your doctor. I take my first day of fresh bleeding as first day of AF but it wouldn't be common to spot for that long before a period so they might have an idea of why that's happening.

@MichT4 love that you're brain is in fur baby mode! It's a welcome distraction at the minute I'm sure! I'm 9-10DPO depending on what app I look at. I think I'm 10 DPO. Nothing new to report here. I am getting sharp pinching pains and sore boobs but I get that before AF so nothing new there. My temps are continuing to sky rocket but I'm on night shift so I think they're all up the left now! Testing Monday hopefully but mentally prepared for the stark white FRER! I have Accupuncture this Saturday. I'm actually more excited about that!lol

MinnieMouse4 · 04/09/2020 16:10

@chloedancer897 I began trying TTC around 2 years ago and stopped after a year and a bit and focused on other things. I then almost by fluke fell pregnant this year which ended in early MC. This will be my first AF following MC so I am sort of expecting a longer cycle based on the information I’ve had on here. According to my normal cycle, AF was due yesterday. I only began using OPKs this cycle so not sure which CD I usually ovulate xx

MichT4 · 04/09/2020 16:15

@MinnieMouse4 did you pick up a peak on your OPK?

@chloedancer897 I really want to try acupuncture. I need to have a look into it. The last lady I spoke to wasn't taking new clients at the moment because of Covid and so in normal me style, I gave up looking at the first sign of more effort being required 😂
I hope your pains are leading to a lovely surprise on Monday 🤞🏼

Any nice plans for the weekend? xx
