@Bl0ndi3 go and enjoy yourself, you only turn 30 once and you don't even know if this month if you have caught xx

Louisa199 · 31/08/2020 09:50

@Firevie Yes, go ahead and mark a peak. But do not stop testing until the day before AF comes. Just in case you have a long cycle this time and the true peak has not come yet.

DBTJ · 31/08/2020 10:19

@BEESY90 I would have gone a & e as if you say your bleeding they can refer you to epu at least you no you have been referred. Hope its a false alarm its a horrible feeling to have no clarity over what is happening.

HE88 · 31/08/2020 10:22

@MichT4 fingers crossed they have and that's rubbish about your private not helping out! Yes blame those hormones, I don't think it helps that my due date would have been in about 2 weeks 😢 xx

Louisa199 · 31/08/2020 10:39

@Firevie If you are not sure about the prediction in the app, have you tried to talk to their support team? Maybe you record some data wrongly or they need to fix some bugs. They always reply to me soon after submitting feedback. Felt very supported.

chloedancer897 · 31/08/2020 10:47

@Firevie I never go on the fertile week predictions alone but use a combination of things. Remind me again, are you temping? I feel like this month, I have a much better idea of my cycle because of the Ava. I also use CB digital because I can't be trusted to interpret the OPKs!lol

Update from me. 6DPO and now I'm getting quite sad. I just know I'm going to get a BFN. I have very little positivity left. I'm almost wishing the next week away just so I know. So I'm not symptom spotting or anything because I don't want the false hope

MichT4 · 31/08/2020 11:03

@HE88 the due date thing is so tough. Mine is November and I really thought I'd be well pregnant by then. Just need to let it pass I think so it's not some goal I'm holding onto.

@chloedancer897 excuse me! None of that please. No need to feel down about anything yet, lovely. You've a long way to go and whatever happens, you are gaining a real understanding of your body which will help you along the way to getting your bfp. Please don't lose hope xx

susiebluebell · 31/08/2020 11:11

@chloedancer897 sorry you aren't feeling positive about TTC, I'm bang in the middle of my FW and have been dtd (in between moving and life stuff!) but my mind won't let me get excited at all, I swear I'm just thinking 'the last pregnancy was a fluke, it'll never happen to me again'.

However it IS nice to be dtd and just enjoying being down in Cornwall now. I went for a swim in the sea alone this morning, left OH and the dog snoring, and just enjoyed it. I did think maybe this time next year we'll have a baby, but it also seems so far away that it's not quite real.

@Bl0ndi3 I'm 30 in a couple of months! Enjoy your birthday!

MichT4 · 31/08/2020 11:22

@susiebluebell your move sounds amazing. I can't imagine how blissful it must be to live in Cornwall. Where abouts are you? Sounds like you're near the beach.

Not jealous at all xx

susiebluebell · 31/08/2020 11:42

@MichT4 Well right now we're staying with OH's mum while things are finalised, so down in West Cornwall near Helston. But going to actually be living further north up the coast near St Austell Smile

Firevie · 31/08/2020 11:46

@chloedancer897 sorry to hear you’re feeling low but no need for that! I’m sending all of your good advice to me back to you :) ! I am temping and my temp did go up today. I will use cbd next time and will keep doing OPKS for now just to be able to input some data. Thanks for everyone’s advice @VP91x @Louisa199 @MichT4 @Northernsoul90 all your messages have meant so much to me! I was quite down but feeling bit better now. Just ready to be back with OH and being back in my home and getting back to my routine.
Xxx

HappyVibes · 31/08/2020 12:31

@chloedancer897 GIRL!!! If you DTD in your FW, then there literally is NO reason at all why this can’t be your BFP month! Even if you were symptom spotting, the high majority of women do not have any symptoms at all so early on so that would be nadda anyways. There is literally every chance this could be your month & no reason to think otherwise at all...the only way in which you could be confident about it not being was if you knew you hadn’t DTD in your FW. But I know you know your stuff so I am pretty confident you have. You’ve got every chance this month, just as the month where you did get your BFP before girl. 💫 Remember the Law of Attraction! Maybe take some time out to read, meditate, yoga, whatever you like to do to help keep you calm & grounded & back into a positive mindset girl! You have got this xxx

HappyVibes · 31/08/2020 12:35

@susiebluebell you’re in such a good position! You’ve had your BFP before, so you absolutely ARE both fertile, there’s no doubt about that at all! You clearly know your body and cycle well, which is a gift in itself. Being in the middle of your FW & having been DTD already is amazing so you already have a few in the bag & still more to come for your peak. You’ve got this all covered girl. Get yourself in a nice frame of mind to rescue the cortisol levels to support fertility too. You have no reason at all to be thinking like this girl. Get your positive Polly mindset on. Next time you for a swim, leave those negative niggling thoughts in the ocean waves & cleanse with positive ones as you get it the sea. xxxxxx

Firevie · 31/08/2020 12:36

Ladies just done my afternoon OPKS and it is reading as 0.3 which is obv low and negative but it was 0.21 yesterday at this time. Very confusing. Xxx

Firevie · 31/08/2020 12:53

@susiebluebell aww sounds lovely! Swim in the sea, living by the sea! Enjoy it! Sounds amazing. Xxx

RichmondLady1981 · 31/08/2020 12:56

Hi lovely ladies.

I’ve read through every single thread on my journey back from Cornwall to London! Learnt so much from you all and loved reading the success stories.

Ready to try again after my mmc in June. Had two regular(ish) cycles since and fancy getting back on the bike.

Mind if I join you on the rollercoaster? X Smile

HappyVibes · 31/08/2020 13:05

@RichmondLady1981 of course lovely - welcome. Sorry to hear of your MMC - these journeys we are all on are so sad, but so inspiring to see how strong we can be and how much we can overcome as couples, and as individuals.

Do you know where you’re up to in your cycle at the moment if you have had a couple of months off? We too had our MMC in June. What a very surreal experience with the Covid situation etc. Sending you lots of baby dust. Sounds like you know yourself and OH well and looked after yourselves well by taking a bit of a break if you needed it. 💓

Northernsoul90 · 31/08/2020 14:19

@Bl0ndi3 I totally agree with @MichT4 celebrate and enjoy!! Life gets pretty drab otherwise and ttc can be all consuming at the best of times xx

@VP91x Hope you're feeling better soon! And glad the test was negative xx

@RichmondLady1981 Hello and welcome! So sorry for your loss 💖 - I also had a mmc in June. Whereabouts are you in your cycle? Sending lots of baby dust your way! Xx

Firevie · 31/08/2020 14:23

@VP91x just seen your message! Sorry to hear you have a terrible cold but glad no Covid! Stay in bed and drink lots of tea ! Xxx

Bl0ndi3 · 31/08/2020 15:46

@Northernsoul90 @MichT4 @susiebluebell @Lollol86
Thanks ladies I intend on having a few won't go crazy tho, won't be able to resist the cocktails at the place I'm going for dinner haha!
♥️ I've been really careful since my first BFP and cut out everything like caffeine diet fizzy drinks etc and continued with it after the MC so I think I can allow myself a drink on my 30th

MinnieMouse4 · 31/08/2020 16:14

@MichT4 AF is due on Thursday according to Flo app which are usually pretty bang on but this is first AF post MC so expecting for it to be a little late. The crazy dreams continue (although I’m not symptom spotting ... honest!) 😁

@RichmondLady1981 welcome and sorry to hear of your loss 💖

@susiebluebell I can totally relate to what you said. I had stopped TTC last year and then all of a sudden I was pregnant and all I keep thinking now is that it was a fluke and won’t happen again but we have to stay positive. If it is one thing I have learned from this group is the mindset that we absolutely are fertile and it will happen again for us 🤞🏻

@chloedancer897 I fell pregnant after only dtd once in that cycle and it was what I thought was after my FW so if you have dtd then there is always a chance. I have everything crossed for you.

Xx

chloedancer897 · 31/08/2020 16:19

@HappyVibes @MichT4 thank you guys. Oh, to have your positivity! I do yoga and Accupuncture so I'm hoping that'll help me work on being such a negative nancy! I suppose it's because I really went overboard the last time I got a BFP (ordering baby clothes, planning our baby reveal post, picking names), I just can't let myself be hopeful. I've lost a lot of that hope. But you guys are so right. I need to be a bit kinder to myself. I wouldn't even tell DH when AF is due because I can't cope with him being quietly hopeful as the time draws nearer.

HappyVibes · 31/08/2020 16:29

@chloedancer897 I fully fell ya girl! We were the same with baby names & with planning the announcement. Just try and remind yourself that you absolutely are both fertile & have the exact same chance as you did have the month where you did get your BFP, so you are well and truly in the game lovely. Bless you. Sending you lots of chilled & relaxed positive vibes girl 💓

susiebluebell · 31/08/2020 17:38

@HappyVibes @Firevie @MinnieMouse4 You ladies are right. POSITIVITY! AND SEA SWIMMING!

MichT4 · 31/08/2020 17:39

@chloedancer897 I am just as guilty of the same thoughts, every now and again I just think it's not going to happen. I went out today and couldn't resist bathroom toys for the puppy. I came home and said to OH that they probably aren't great for him but I feel like I'm never going to buy these things for our baby. He just came and sat next to me and I had a moment of real sadness. So you're not alone. I'm terrified of being hopeful and positive at times.
But I just try and tell myself that it can happen, and there's no reason next time it won't stick like glue. I think I'd struggle with a lot of things if I let myself think otherwise

@susiebluebell it sounds dreamy! I think living somewhere like that will do wonders for your mind and soul! When is your place ready?

@Firevie how are you feeling? Don't worry about those numbers. Again it will vary depending on dilution etc. That's why FF is good with the basic positive or negative

@RichmondLady1981 welcome to the group, and so sorry for your loss. Certainly is a rollercoaster but is a much more bearable one with these ladies

@MinnieMouse4 ooh not long at all. Will you wait to test? Sorry if I asked that already, or you've told me already

xx
