As the title says really! 😆🙈
How long did it take you to fall pregnant after your implant removal?
I had mine out on 4th August and haven't had AF yet.. 🤔

@Elmo230885 I've not had any periods at all for the last 10 years with it in and before that I'd been on the pill since I was 16/17. I can't even remember what a normal period is like 🙈 I just hope my ovaries still know how to work 😬

gems05 · 06/09/2020 19:14

@DNpink82 ohh your body will remember! 😳 judging from these cramps on Thursday/Friday

Typically the one thing I'd love to avoid altogether (period/cramps) that I actually need to have for TTC 🙄

@DNpink82 I know what you mean. After so long with around one (poor excuse for a) period per year it's been very strange having them now after I stopped bf DS!

I was in the implant for 6 years total with no break (had two) and had veryyyyyy irregular periods / bleeds whilst on it..
Has it removed on 4th Aug and had my AF on 31st August! So pleased xx

@gems05 I wouldn't mind if them cramps actually led to anything but still no AF 🙄 I just know she's gonna arrive while we're on holiday, I thought 5 weeks before would of been enough time to have AF out of the way 😞

ttc97 · 07/09/2020 09:05

@DNpink82 oh no how frustrating! Sounds exactly like how I felt with AF cramping but no sign of AF for several weeks 😭 hope she comes soon! X x

I had my implant out in January, bled for 3 weeks straight so that was fun Hmm then tested positive in early March. My DC is now 2 Smile

I was worried as I had the implant for 12 years. Rarely any periods in that time but I got lucky. Good luck and happy trying Wink

I had my implant out after 6 years in June. It was 1 implant...I know, I know(!) but I had an awful experience with my previous implant removal previously, and then I kept forgetting and then avoiding getting it changed/removed.

I figured it had expired because I'd started having normal periods, and I was therefore not trying but not preventing.

Turns out it must have been doing something still because I got pregnant the following cycle in July. Sadly I had an early miscarriage in August so baby didn't stick, but I'm hopeful for future cycles.
