Hi all,
I’ve been TTC Had my implant out in May 19 and had diagnosed endometriosis in Jan 20 following surgery. My periods since April 20 have been very irregular and my last one was on 6th June (nothing since) I took a test on 1st August which was negative :(. I then took a test on Sunday 23rd and thought could see a faint line for a positive. Could this be positive? I took another again this morning and it still looks faint but is less than the Sunday test. Could this be negative? I don’t want to get my hopes up :( I used Asda 2 pack tests

Oh, I wish I had seen this before I started my thread!

I took and Asda test yesterday and had a faint line, then took another this morning and had no line at all. Everything I’ve read says any line is positive because it’s picked up hormones, but it’s so deflating to now see no line!!!

I would try again in a few days’ time as hormones double everyday. Good luck xx

@Holizabeth90 It's so difficult to tell with a faint line. I don't want to get my hopes up as we've been trying for so long.

Yeah everything i've seen says a line is a line and without the hormone you wouldn't even get a faint line. So still hoping!

Wishing you all the luck too!

I spoke to my GP this morning and he said they double as the days go on so to test again same time next week (i don't know how long i can wait) but then i also don't want to do it again and have a negative :(

I feel exactly the same!!! I think I might leave it two days and then do a clear blue digital.

Where they blue dye tests or red ? Red dye tests tend to be more accurate . Blue dye tests are known to be bad for evaporation lines .

Saying that I tested and got a faint line on a blue test then nothing the next day or the day after . Took another 5 days to get a solid positive . I'm now ten weeks pregnant x

Red I think. It was really hard to see when I took a photo. But the first one I did my partner said he could see it when I showed him straight after.

My doctor said in his opinion it sounds like I am but to test next week to see if it's a bit clearer and if it's still faint then they will send me for a blood test but they want to try and avoid me going to hospital to lessen the risk at the moment.

It's really hard where my periods have become really irregular since April. So wouldn't know how far I would be. I guess if I am and it was faint it would still be quite early?

Yes a faint line would Indicate if you where pregnant that it was very early on .

It's a hard situation to be in I've been there myself .

The only real advice to give is test in a few days or next week 💕 there's not a lot else you can do for now x
