Conception/ovulation after miscarriage

Hello,

Bit of a complicated one!
We have been ttc since may. I came off the contraceptive pill, fell pregnant really quickly and sadly miscarried at 6 weeks. It’s been 3 weeks since I started bleeding, and yesterday I had a solid smiley on the ovulation test. I have tested again today and still have a solid smiley. Am I definitely ovulating? I’m worried it’s just my hormones all over the place, is it normal to have two positive ovulation tests as I know ovulation doesn’t last long!

I’m in the same boat, but a week ahead. I got my static a week later than usual. It’s 4 weeks today since my surgical miscarriage.

Not sure what’s going on with my body. I’m 8dpo, but think I can feel af coming, & It seems she’s going to hurt... A LOT.

Thanks so much for your reply! It’s nice to know you aren’t on your own in this. Can I ask did you get a negative test? I’ve heard you don’t start ovulating till all the hcg leaves your system. For me this was 8th august... x

@cesca1231994 I got my negative on the 5th August 🙂 I think I was waited a day or 2 before starting opk’s

Hi ladies,

Just wanted to jump on to say that if you have both gotten a negative pregnancy test, then yes your static faces are accurate and you will be ovulating within 12-36hrs of the first static smiley if that makes sense!

With the CB digital OPKs don't bother using anymore sticks because after the first static it will stay as a solid smiley for 48hrs regardless if you test again and then it resets itself. If you tested again once it reset it just goes back to a blank circle for your first go.

Normally you count the first day of your bleed from MC or day of your surgery as CD1 😊

Can also confirm that if you've had a negative test then the static smiley has detected your peak. Hormones can be a bit all over the place after a mc, the only way to confirm ovulation has occurred is through temping.
