I know there are lots of feeds about this subject but I'm looking for what else it could be. I've looked online but it can be overwhelming. We are trying for a baby so I'm hoping nothing is wrong but I just wondered if anyone else had been in this situation? I know I ovulated as I bleed a little on my 14th day and I've always come on, on the 28th day so this is all new to me.

TIA

I’ve taken another test today at 14 dates late and it’s still a BFN. My doctor said they don’t do anything until 3 missed periods which is what it says on the NHS website so I guess I’m just going to have to wait and see it next months arrives. I’ve read online that being overweight can cause this which I am I guess so have joined weight watchers so I can feel like I’m doing something!

@Mama090319 I'm sorry, I spoke to my doctor and they have run tests and offered counselling but I'm sure that because of the miscarriage. I'm not pregnant though I know I'm not. I've bought some ovulation sticks to see if I ovulate this month at all. I'm overweight and got pregnant, millions of women do but obviously it can help to be healthier. Good luck! I hope for the BFP for you soon 😘

Hi ladies, hope you are okay. How are you? I'm still not having anything really, had a faint line that turned into a dark line as it dried yesterday but then tested this morning and it was BFN so it must be false. It was convincing though 😕
@peacheswife I'm using ovulation strips too now to see if they show anything. So far they are all similar. I'm using an app to track them too which is helpful.

@Mama090319 good luck with weight watchers. Hopefully you will get your BFP soon, some ladies get there's weeks after a missed period 🤞

Mama090319 · 29/08/2020 08:28

@Ladybird345 it’s been 2 weeks now. We weren’t actively trying so I’m not too fussed, I just wanted to know either way. I’ve mostly accepted that this month is missed and I’ll have to wait and see what happens next month!

Well ladies i took a pink dye test and its a BFN 😢 i am so upset. Please do NOT use tesco pregnancy tests

Newtothis12 · 29/08/2020 15:47

Now can someone help me with ovulation strips how do they work and if u get a positive response when do you try? Sorry if it sounds daft x

Ladybird345 · 29/08/2020 20:17

@Newtothis12 aw I'm so sorry to hear that! I can't believe your lines were false they where so clear!
Ovulation strips aren't for everyone but here is some info for you which will give you an idea if you want to give them a go:
www.whattoexpect.com/getting-pregnant/ovulation/ovulation-test-strips/
I get my strips off the Internet but you can buy them from shops too, I get just the plain strips but you can get a digital reader too (Clearblue) which will give you an indicator so you don't have to interpret the lines. I use mine with the Premom app as it logs your tests and gives them a rating which makes it easier to predict your cycle. Sorry if that was abit long winded! X

ambs1994 · 29/08/2020 21:39

@Newtothis12 I had this exact same experience last week on tesco own brand blue dye tests, clear as day positive and I was not pregnant. Hope you're okay.

I FINALLY CAME ON!!!! After 3 weeks I have finally come on and can start planning my next month of trying! It seems weird to be pleased but I'm so relieved that the stress can stop.
