hey all

Im new to monitoring my BBT and need advice, sorry of this is a stupid question but will the result still be accurate if i get up and meassure in another room? Only reason i ask because I have brought 4 thermometers and their bleeping is soooo loud and keeps waking up my DH. (6am in the morning) he hasnt complained but i just feel so bad.

Sadly silent thermometers don't seem to exist, not that I've found anyway.

Thanks in advance and sending baby dust and virtual hugs Smile

They advise you should take it before any movement at all, do you wake naturally at a similar time every day? Perhaps you could take it then as soon as you wake rather than set the alarm? X

The Fermometer one is quiet ish!

But no, you literally cannot move. Worth it as BBT gives you such a clear idea of your cycle.

No, it won't be accurate if you've got out of bed. I turn it on and put it under my pillow til it beeps. My dh is a light sleeper and it's rarely woken him.

I take mine straight away and hover on the button. The second it beeps, I turn it off and then go to the bathroom and turn it back on as it flashes up last temperature taken for a few seconds. The things we do!

Hi OP,
I had the same issue... We ended up buying a Wink Thermometer (by a company called Kindara) which is very which, vibrates instead of the beeps and Bluetooth syncs with their app too.
I think they stopped selling them though, the are quite fragile... they're now developing an internal thermometer that you pop into your vagina before you go to bed....
Also, have a look at temp drop. It's a bracelet you pop around your arm at night and the algorithm works out your BBT. Never used it personally but am tempted if my wink breaks.
