Hormonal blood test

Hello!

Iv had a blood test taken about 10 days ago to check hormone levels - I told the doctor I was having some irregularity coming off the pill since March (which is getting better thank goodness) but I haven’t heard anything- and I’m too scared to phone up.. in case it’s bad news. I just wondered if anyone else had hormone tests and how long do they usually take? :) thanks in advance!

Usually a fortnight in my area. They won't contact you, you have to contact them. Whilst it's important in our private world they have much more important health cases that they contact people for. Hope it's all ok xxx

Can't believe you've had a blood test though to be honest, sounds normal. Takes 6-12 mths or more depending on how long you were on the pill for before period's get regular. Xx

I usually get my bloods back within a few days but it does depend on the area you're in. Usually (not always) no contact is a sign there's nothing of note as the doctor would initiate contact if there was treatment required
