Tracking Ovulation- EWCM and temping

Hi everyone 🙂

This is my first month trying to track ovulation after coming off the pill and having long cycles. I wanted to see if I was actually ovulating.

I’m CD 19 now. I have had watery CM since CD16, then yesterday I had some EWCM (just once) and then today back to watery. I was really hoping for a temperature rise this morning hoping I had ovulated yesterday but nothing! :(

So.... when you get EWCM is it normally the day of ovulation?

Do you find your temperature usually rises instantly the next day or can it take a while?

I think I’m going to add in OPKs next month.

I’m just driving myself crazy with it all! 😂

I'm on day 6 of EWCM now! Granted that's longer than usual for me but I think in general women start having ewcm 2-3 days before ovulation.

The temp rise needs to be the day after - it doesn't have to be a big shift or anything, the rule of thumb is that it is higher than the previous 6 temps, and that it's sustained for 3 days in a row. There are always exceptions but it's pretty accurate.

If you're not already using FF I'd strongly recommend it for BBT tracking as the graphs are probably the easiest to interpret :)
