I've just found out that this is the recommended treatment for me too. Expect to start end of Oct/early Nov (fingers crossed!)

I've just been diagnosed with PCOS and have no periods so I'm going to be given provera to induce a withdrawal bleed, then letrozole and trigger shots, then I'll go in for the IUI.

How are you feeling about things? X

Just wanted to pop on this thread to say good luck to you both! I had a successful IUI back in Feb and am now 29 weeks pregnant. X

I’m old at 41 but can’t go straight to ivf it doesn’t feel right. So hard to know what’s best. Fingers crossed for you xx

I had IUIs at 40, got pregnant on the third go, and now have a beautiful 5 year old DD.

I’d recommend doing all you can beforehand to get you and your eggs, and your partner and his sperm in tip-top condition. All the supplements, the diet, the acupuncture, the hypnosis etc. What was different about the third IUI cycle was that I did fertility hypnosis, but I’m sure all the other lifestyle stuff helped too.

I just wanted to send you positive vibes. It worked first time for me, then the second came along naturally. Good luck!
