@NamechangeTTC oooh let's hope its nice fertile dischaege that you're having.

Awesome what dosage did you end up taking same as me 120mg everyday?

OP posts:
NamechangeTTC · 25/08/2020 11:08

@candycrush2298 it’s almost yellow cream.

Yeah 120mg 5 days at about 1130pm

Elakiya · 25/08/2020 11:11

@Kaybobx Dry humping your leg lol!!!! hahaha!!!

Mine seems to wake up in the morning very stiff no idea what kind of wet dreams he's been having and then he's like why waste it lets just go lol!

@candycrush2298 Don't test until the day of your missed period imagine what a fantastic surprise that would be :)

My no testing with OPKs isn't happening this month lol. I am testing and I started today. But I promised myself no PG tests. Seeing the gynae tomorrow. Will let you know how it goes

candycrush2298 · 25/08/2020 11:13

@NamechangeTTC oh thats normal cm to have before you get close to your fertile window. Well its not normal for me as I ovulate about a week after AF so for me I have 1 dry day and then I get watery cm and then ewcm so for me I only get that in the TWW.

So you will still be a while way from ovulating but hopefully the soy brings it closer this cycle for you xx

Sounds good let's hope it works for us all

OP posts:
candycrush2298 · 25/08/2020 11:16

@Elakiya wet dreams lets go!!! Omg hilarious!!! Whahahaha!!

If I can hold out that long I promise to do so hahah. As it would be an awesome surprise and it will take out the guess work there will either be a line or there won't.

Aww how are you feeling? You OK with testing opks, its not stressing you out?
Aww cant wait to hear what your gynae has to say I want like a full breakdown hahahaha.
Yay for no pg testS!!!

Kaybobx · 25/08/2020 12:20

@Elakiya my hubby is the same in the mornings, i think its just a man thing. We usually have a toddler in the middle of us so i can't bring myself to do anything when shes in the room. She'll be telling everyone at nursery lol.
Excited to see your OPKS!!

@candycrush2298 awe i hope your day gets better. Im going to try the pineapple core, i think i will rattle when i walk if I take anymore pills haha.
So excited its not long for you now. Im impressed at you all not testing! Ive got 20 easy@home tests I'll be testing everyday, maybe twice hahaha!!

candycrush2298 · 25/08/2020 12:26

@Kaybobx definitely think morning sex is a man thing. Hahaha. I never used to like it in the morning now I do hahah.
And yeah can see why you have an actual human obstacle in your way😂😂

Thanks I am starting to feel a little better everything is still in limbo but I have been busy with other work that I have been distracted so I am slowly getting there. Thanks hun!!

If you dont mind the texture of the pineapple go for it no better way then to get it naturally. I can say that I haven't experienced any IBS symptoms and 1-5dpo is when I usually get it the worst so its truly helped with that. Only just realised that now hahaha.

Hahahaha just remember how hard it was to come by those 20pg tests who knows when they will have stock again dont be wasting them until you know you can get more 😂😂😂😂

OP posts:
candycrush2298 · 25/08/2020 12:27

meant to say texture of pineapple CORE lol I love pineapple just dont like the bitterness and feel of the core lol

OP posts:
Elakiya · 25/08/2020 12:34

@candycrush2298 @Kaybobx Aww ladies it looks my insurance policy doesn't cover a lot of things regarding fertility so I may have to go back to the NHS. Lets add some more stress to my life. If I'm going back to the NHS. I think I need to get my GP to refer me to a different hospital can't see the same guy again and I really need to shift this 2 stone weight :(

Kaybobx · 25/08/2020 12:36

@candycrush2298 i do prefer mornings, I'm so tired by the time we get to bed and i just can't be bothered. Will just have to have a crafty spoon this week and hope she doesn't notice hahaha.

Glad your day has chilled out abit. Your half way there.

I've never tried pineapple core, I've never even cut open a pineapple haha!!! So no idea what the texture is like. I suffered bad with IBS so thats great to hear its helped you. If i don't like the core I'll add more pills to my pile haha.

Ahhh i know, i think im just thinking in my head we all WILL be pregnant this month as everyone else on soy conceives lol. May aswell use the all up.. or maybe i should buy more hahaha

Welliedays · 25/08/2020 12:42

Ahhha with regards testing, I think I might wait until Sunday again so I have line progression of a week rather than a few dayszseen as I had a weeks progression on my frer 🤔 I'd also be 5 weeks 2 days by then, so more likely to get my 3+ rather than 2-3 on my cb 🤔 I also don't know how you guys all concentrate at work once you've tested (regardless of the result) as my mind goes into overdrive either way... And I then spend 2 hours messaging you all aha. So maybe sunday is better for me!

candycrush2298 · 25/08/2020 13:06

@Elakiya awwwww, that is a tough pill to swollow, so your insurance will cover your gynae appointment tomorrow but not any of the treatments he may prescribe?
Arggggh and the NHS is really strict about BMI I also have some pounds to shed hun before we get to the fertility clinic - need to get my act together, I know how much it sucks.
Why won't you be able to see the same Dr is he only private?
So sorry hun I know how fond of this doctor you are.
Don't think the worst though - OK so you will have your appointment tomorrow and see what he has to say once you know what he has to say he might be able to give the referrals straight onto your GP so it can move a lot quicker for you through the NHS as you will already have a referral.
As for the weight you can totally do it, I am not sure what works for you to get your head in the zone, but for me I clear my house of all the bad food and only do online shopping so I have no temptation sitting right in my face as my biggest time for snacking is bed time. Whatever you gotta do to make it work you can totally do it. I believe with everything you are already facing and taking it on with such fierceness you are strong and with strength is determination which I think you totally have!!!

@Kaybobx lol spooning secretly hahahaha I love it!!!
Yasss past the halfway mark LOL.

LOL hubby hates cutting up a pineapple and I eat it often so just end up cutting it myself. Its easy to do but yeah the core is always bitter and hard freaks me out when I didn't cut it away properly and I bite into it hahahahah.

I am really glad that you have such positive thoughts, positive energy creates positive energy and all that. Its very good to be super optimistic!!! I like your confidence!!!!! Keep it up!! Hopefully it will rub off on me. And if you do fall pregnant this cycle you will need those pg tests for a line progression lol!!!!

@Welliedays LOL I haven't had a positive but a negative I obsess over all the time regardless if I am at work or not so no idea how obsessed I would be with a positive - I mean the last time I did get false positives (maybe real not sure it was a chemical I had) anyway those I didn't believe they were real so actually never gave it a second thought. Wonder if I would do that again if I were to get another positive LOL!!!
I think if you want the 3+ weeks then yes definitely wait until Sunday and then you can think about it all day without trying to focus on work LOL.

Elakiya · 25/08/2020 13:33

@candycrush2298 So the terms and conditions are quite vague that it's hard to work out what I am covered for and what I am not. So I'll just be telling them and seeing what bits they'll pay for each step of the way.

But I think as I have heavy periods with blood clots and also the bleeding after exercise, that will technically cover some of the scans as it's not fertility related anymore and more to do with health.

I guess I needed this kick to get me motivated again. I am going for a run at 5.00

candycrush2298 · 25/08/2020 13:58

@Elakiya aw wow that does sound a bit confusing then but yeah if you take it one step at a time you can see what is what isn't.

If they can process quite a bit under your health rather than fertility it will be awesome.

Lol!! We all need a kick in the but now and then. Habe fun on your run

OP posts:
Kaybobx · 25/08/2020 14:05

@Elakiya what a nightmare, its always the same with insurance. You never do quite know what your getting but agreed it is more health than fertility which luckily ties in so hopefully it can kill 2 birds with one stone. I hope you get it sorted quickly though, i know the NHS aren't in any major rush to do anything at the minute.

I need to shed some pounds too. Ive put on just over since before lock down!! I used to be in the gym most days and eat well, well that went out the window lol. I've got one more eat out to help out tonight then I need to sort myself out ha!

Welliedays · 25/08/2020 15:54

Hope you're feeling better now @reginaaphlange , I've spent most of the day on the sofa. Just feel totally wiped out.

@elakiya oh my, it all sounds so confusing, can you get them to put most things through as health related if they know that's what you're insurance pays for (it makes no difference to them at the end of the day)

snapple21 · 25/08/2020 17:25

Hey everyone hope you're all well!
CD6 for me today - moving up to 200mg soy for two days. I wonder if it will bring ovulation forward at all. That would be nice. Ive ovulated on cd18 for the last few.

candycrush2298 · 25/08/2020 17:58

@Kaybobx hope you enjoy your last eat out to help out lol!!

@snapple21 whoohoo nearly there 2 more days. I have heard it can bring your ovulation forward. Let's hope that's the case for you. Mine was still within the normal but I am an early ovulater so would have been mad if it did lol!!!

ReginaaPhalange · 25/08/2020 19:00

I was doing quite well on being quite positive about this little bean sticking. But on another chat thread someone has said they've previously had chemicals at 4weeks 3 days and 4 weeks 4 days. I'm 4 weeks 4 days today and it's set me right back into realising I'm not out of the woods yet on this little bean sticking. I'm still trying to stay positive, but it's so hard aha. I am getting my hopes up far too much though, I've been looking at prams, baby clothes and maternity clothes. I am a complete idiot, but thats where I'd managed to get my mindset to about the whole situation. Sorry to moan when I'm in the positive of having my BFP, but you girls are the ones that I actually feel 'closest' to on here.

Also girls, my boobs have grown. Like, to the point I can only wear one of my sports bras at the moment. My other sports bras feel tight (they are high support ones in fairness, whereas the one I can wear is light support.. It just about manages to keep them in position, no idea what sport you'd realistically wear it for 😂 ) and my normal bras... So uncomfy it's ridiculous, round the back, under the cups, my boobs are spilling out of the top. I know this, because I've had to chance my bra 3 times today. So my major achievement of the day is I've found the EXACT same sports bra on ebay and managed to buy it. It's at least 10 years old and no longer being made so the fact I've found one at all, never mind in my size, is a miracle! So my advice is, make sure you have a comfy bra of some sort just in case your boobs go the same way - I'm saying no wire, probably no actual cups and if possible no proper bra fastening.. All about comfort and stretch 😂

@candycrush2298 that graph looks so good, hopefully it's a good sign! Can't wait for you to test on the day AF is due!! 😉

candycrush2298 · 25/08/2020 20:07

@Welliedays awwww I know there's always so much stress surrounding it. In the US they can just go in for blood work and then back again in 2 days to make sure its doubling. And you are most certainly not an idiot!! Its normal to be excited. And you should be. I certainly would be until my body told me otherwise.

Unfortunately there is always a risk of a chemical or miscarriage its just part of life. Try not to worry about it, I know you are trying to protect yourself and that makes total sense but stressing isn't good for you and its not good for baby.

I am praying you will have a perfect little one 😊

Awww thank you chart at least shows I ovulated and is not half as psycho as last cycle after ovulation I was way up then way down like rocky mountains so just so pleased its normal fluctuations this cycle hahaha.

OP posts:
Welliedays · 25/08/2020 20:48

@candycrush2298 thank you lovely. They really don't tell you how stressful this whole process is do they!

I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of your chart, it is looking really good so far

candycrush2298 · 25/08/2020 20:52

@Welliedays I know its all so very stressful and no one ever tells you this side of it. Growing up I always thought it was this fairytale no one ever said how scared and nervous and worried we are both ttc and pregnant. Such a roller coaster.

Lol and to add wanted to say thanks for the tips about the bra I have some awesome sports bras just dont know if they would accept bigger boobies lol!!!!

OP posts:
Welliedays · 25/08/2020 21:07

It really is @candycrush2298 and the fact noone talks openly about it in proper life!

Like honestly, it feels like they've grown overnight...not sure they look massively bigger, but they feel it aha. They're so much sorer. The sports bra I'm living in is actually like cotton rather than the lucra type material of all my other ones. I genuinely thought the other one I put on earlier had plenty of space.. Apparently not!
