Line eyes!! Accidental pregnancy test!

Hey girls, so today I went to have an ovulation test which to my surprise came back positive (which is rare with me) and in my panic I thought I'd test again with a more expensive piece of kit which I later found out was actually a pregnancy test. Results are below for ovulation strip and pregnancy test.

I retested this morning and it was just an LH surge since my OPK just came out noticeably weaker... FRER is negative of course. Soooo disappointing. That makes what I saw on the Sainsbury's HPT a false positive :'(

Just to also let you know, it is common to get an LH surge right before your period - I often do. It can be a mind f*ck unfortunately.

Sorry I didn't respond yesterday. Based on yesterdays pictures I would've definitely said you weren't pregnant. If you google pregnancy and positive OPK you'll see that normally the HPT is about as strong as the OPK.

So if you were pregnant then you would have had a blazing strong line on the FRER.

I feel for you though, it's horrible to feel like this might be your time only to find out it isn't.

@Plsnomorepeppapig I didn't even know that was a thing :'( what a bummer!! My period is supposed to arrive in 2 days but there's still no sign of it... still have the tiniest bit of hope but I won't stress over it as most likely I'm out. Arrrgh it's so frustrating!

@Curiosity101 oh don't worry lovely, it was a learning experience! Thank you so much for the advice, I'll definitely keep this in mind for next time! AF is supposed to come in 2 days so maybe there is a tiny bit of hope so fingers crossed!!
