Hi everyone!

To those that use OPK's regularly....the lines in my tests always seem to be really thin and I can't tell it's peak, high etc.

Does anyone else get this or is it the type of test?

I've attached a pic of my tests from the past 5 days - CD10 -CD14.

Any insight would be appreciated Smile

Id say its getting there but has fizzled out...
What time of day are you testing? Are you testing after a long hold/not much fluid? Are you checking your cm?
Ovulation can be attempted a few times before it may actually happen...keep testing!

I really recommend downloading the app freemom it's free and will automatically decipher a rating of your test (low, high, peak) it's made my life a lot easier!

Leezo · 18/08/2020 23:21

I downloaded Premom last month - it is a definite game changer! No more guessing

Thanks ladies. I'll give that app a go and see what it says.

I'll also keep testing and see what happens.

I do check my cm but only for the past couple of months and only recently started to do it more consistently.

Do you test multiple times a day when the line gets a bit stronger? The surge can be as short as 4h so you could have missed it by only testing once a day.

Did you have any ewcm?

I use femometer as my app btw, love it :)

Rumples · 19/08/2020 07:45

@Juno231 I have only been doing it once a day. If they start to get darker again I'll do them multiple times a day.

I thought it had ewcm on CD13 and I've made sure we've dtd every other day from CD11 so I am covered if I have ovulated.

I'll get that app too..I feel better the more info I have Smile

@raspberryjamlove is there another app named freemom that deciphers the OPKs result?Hmm I thought only premom can do this. Well, I use premom and it is quite accurate for me, such a lifesaver.Grin

PurpleIsTheColour · 19/08/2020 14:03

I would say you’re not there yet, although the second one from top looks quite dark so I won’t be surprised if you’ve missed it by only testing once. Once I get high on the app I start testing at least twice daily (usually 3 times when app says it’s the calculated ovulation day) so I can catch it. My peak surge is very short so i’ve missed it a few times in the past by not testing enough. How many days is your cycle usually?

raspberryjamlove · 19/08/2020 21:12

Yes sorry it was premom my auto correct changed it sorry! I use femometer for all my tracking and bbt but premom is perfect for tracking ovulation strips :)

Rumples · 23/08/2020 19:01

To update, these are my 2 from today.

Safe to say I've got my peak? And probably ovulate tomorrow?

I'm a bit worried as I have a 28/29 day cycle and I'm on CD19 now. 😕
