I'm 11dpo today and after having some symptoms, took this frer at 11am. IC's are negative but I swear I can see a line on the frer!! Not sure if it's an Evap though. HELP!

I think I can! I'm good at these lines! I was able to see the faintest line on my tests, way before my dh could! I'd prob keep testing every other day now! Eeek!!! Hope you get the result you want!

ScarMatty · 18/08/2020 12:57

I can't see anything but I really don't like those tests. They've given me multiple very faint false positives lots of times

blab90 · 18/08/2020 13:00

Thanks everyone! I'm taking it all with a pinch of salt but I've taken hundreds of frer before and never seen even a shadow of a line before. Trying not to get too excited. Got a frer for tomorrow morning!

If you can, and I know how hard it is, wait and do the next test on Thursday morning. It can be incredibly difficult to see any difference after just 24 hours, but after 48 hours you should be able to see a really clear difference if you are pregnant.

Good luck, fingers crossed for you 🤞

Mummy120494 · 18/08/2020 15:01

I can see a faint line very similar to how I started out ! I'm currently 8.1 weeks pregnant test again in a few days you'll see a difference :) x

blab90 · 18/08/2020 18:56

Ahh thank you 😊 I didn't use FMU on the frer I've done today. In fact, it was late morning and I'd had looooads of water and wee's so if I DID test tomorrow and use FMU, do you think it would be darker? I'm so impatient lol.

OP posts:
Mummy120494 · 18/08/2020 20:22

@blab90 they always recommend to use FMU before your period is due gives a more accurate result ! Haha I get the excessive testing I did the same so don't worry I would say yes it may give a stronger line but you'll have to see!
Keep us posted! X

blab90 · 19/08/2020 07:35

So, I decided to do a test this morning and it's ever so slightly darker I think! I'm going to try not to do one now till Fri or sat when I'm due on. I really hope this is it!! Thank you for your replies up to now ☺️ xxx

I’m normally good at these, can pick up lines right away. In your latest pics I see them but really had to look for them.

I hope you get the result your after though x

unicornpower · 19/08/2020 09:49

I had MUCH darker lines in the afternoon after a few hours hold than FMU-not sure why but there was a massive difference so maybe try that too? FC for you!

blab90 · 20/08/2020 09:58

Just a little update at 13dpo 😁😁😁

Yay 😃 I didn't see a line in your first post so was worried it was an evap/BFN. But that's a 100% BFP! Congratulations 🎊

blab90 · 20/08/2020 12:53

Thank you 😊 I also thought it wasn't actually there but I've had that many symptoms I knew I was either pregnant or mad! Haha xxx

OP posts:
blab90 · 21/08/2020 05:27

So it seems that although I have many symptoms and a bfp I am in fact NOT pregnant. Got a BFN this morning at 5am with fmu. So sad ☹️ xxx

I'm so sorry to hear that. Unfortunately FRER are notorious for lines like your 13 dpo line at the moment, which leads to much heartbreak. I had a few on cycles where I couldn't have been pregnant/definitely not a chemical. Some people have a baseline HCG that hovers around the sensitivity level of FRER too which doesn't help.

I stick with 25ml sensitivity now. You're not out till AF arrives but stay away from FRER. I find Clearblue much more reliable now.

Take care and good luck!

Curiosity101 · 21/08/2020 08:50

I'm sorry to see this update :(

I don't want to be alarmist but sometimes fluctuating HCG levels can be a sign of an ectopic pregnancy. It may not be fluctuating HCG levels, it's possibly just a dodgy test, but I would suggest familiarising yourself with the signs of ectopic pregnancy just as a precaution.

blab90 · 21/08/2020 13:24

Thank you to both of you. I'm not due AF till tomorrow but it's looking a lot like a chemical or false positive. Oh well, on to the next month.

@blab90 so sorry to hear your news ! I'd maybe take another test Ina few days? It could be a false negative ?? If your saying you have all
The symptoms etc if you don't come on you period I'd definitely test again x

mrsmummy1111 · 21/08/2020 14:26

So sorry to hear that @blab90 can I ask if you bought your FRER online? I am trying to warn people against those on any threads I see where people have used eBay / amazon FRER's and got false positives because they sell fake tests. It's soul destroying but please don't buy FRER unless you can get them from an actual shop yourself. Hoping for the best for you xx

blab90 · 21/08/2020 14:31

Hi, no I bought them from my local pharmacy (and almost bankrupted myself in the process 😭) so unfortunately they're legit. I still have symptoms but it's just a waiting game for AF now. If I still feel like I do in a week I'll do another test as it's my 30th on Sat so I want to know one way or another 😁🥂 xx

Girls please help me out. I’m 14dpo (I think). Late from my period. Taken lots of tests before today, all neg. just taken one and I think I can see the faintest line? But it won’t picture! Maybe I’m going crazy!

mrsmummy1111 · 21/08/2020 16:16

If your period is already late @Hevsbutton I would suspect the line should be obvious if positive. What test is it? Fingers crossed 🤞🏼

calimommy · 21/08/2020 17:32

The latest test 13DPO is positive 👍
