Ttc period due in about ten days. Last time I felt 'different' about 7 days before my period. I can't describe it. My boobs were sore and weirdly I wasn't peeing that much and completely lost my appetite. I feel totally normal at the moment so I don't think we've done it this month. What did you feel like? Did you feel different?

Yes, I had shooting pains in my stomach on and off about a week / ten days or so before my missed period. Never felt anything like it. They were tiny but I could really feel them.

Still early days for you though so still time for some signs...

JamieLeeCurtains · 17/08/2020 22:36

It's a long time ago but ...

Each time I very suddenly just couldn't eat. As in, half way through a meal it was, oh dear lord I feel sicker than a sick thing. That was very early on.

happinessischocolate · 17/08/2020 22:42

I knew within days, I went from having a rubbish sense of smell to be able to smell everything really strongly, bo, fags, most foods and had to run to the toilet to vomit when I moved the bin lid to put something in it, despite it being reasonably clean.

funnyonion1 · 17/08/2020 22:56

With second DC I absolutely knew it before I had a missed period and did a pregnancy test. Just had a feeling!

Ajahd · 17/08/2020 23:35

I 'knew' I was pregnant before taking my test. I wouldn't call it a nauseaus feeling, but I had an overproduction of saliva, which made me feel like I was constantly away to be sick. Then again saying that, for the previous 17 months while we were TTC, I symptom spotted and 'thought' I was pregnant each time, so can't really say that it was different to any other cycle!!

Blossomorange · 17/08/2020 23:38

Yep, huge twinges if I got up quickly and strange yellowish skin colour under my eyes.

RustyLeesBogBrush · 17/08/2020 23:43

Yes, really bad nausea a week before my period was due to the point of fainting with my first DC. Boobs very sore and taking my bra off was excruciating, again about a week before my period was due.

helpamamaout · 17/08/2020 23:50

Yes

Have felt implantation x3

But I am very sensitive/aware of what's happening in that part of the body and feel when I ovulate

SparkyBlue · 18/08/2020 06:48

Yes on DD1 I woke up to wee during the night and knew something had happened. I also had implantation bleeding

upsidedownwavylegs · 18/08/2020 07:17

No. Really didn’t occur to me despite having been trying for well over a year. I had breakthrough bleeding too but didn’t think much of it. I had symptom spotted every cycle up to that point and tested early a few times, then I had a chemical the month before and after that stopped paying attention and there it was.

MrsxRocky · 18/08/2020 08:10

Yup. 3rd time pregnant and I knew every single time. Weird period cramps week before due which I never get that early.

RMarieClaire · 18/08/2020 08:17

I had no idea. In fact I was convinced I hadn't conceived. It's very possible to have no symptoms or only PMS style symptoms.

With 10 days before AF you could absolutely get a BFp this cycle. Youre only about 4dpo so wouldn't have had implantation by this point: no hormones, no symptoms.

FX for you!

oldsizenines · 18/08/2020 08:37

I have fallen pregnant twice and both times I would wake up in the middle of the night for no reason. Sometimes every hour on the hour. All before I'd taken a pregnancy test.

sophi1207 · 18/08/2020 09:49

I didnt feel it at all. Took a test completely expecting it to be negative! I guess the only thing I felt was that I didn't have the usual cramps at I get when I'm coming on my period.

taraRoo · 18/08/2020 19:58

A lot of different responses! I think I will know... but it would be nice if I got a surprise in ten days time x

Well ladies, I'm delighted to say I got my bfp! No symptoms apart from mild nausea over the past few days!

RMarieClaire · 29/08/2020 16:40

Congratulations @taraRoo that's great! I also got a BFp this month and once again no symptoms and I was absolutely certain I would get a negative. So weird

taraRoo · 29/08/2020 18:11

@RMarieClaire

Congratulations to you too! Good luck x

Nope - no idea whatsoever. Only did a test because DH wanted me to. I actually had no cm whatsoever in the tww that I conceived. I'm now 37+4.

Moandy · 29/08/2020 18:38

no, none whatsoever!

meganm94 · 01/09/2020 16:06

First time with DD, I had no idea. It took us 5 cycles to conceive and I was getting so used to getting negatives I didn't really read into the symptoms that month. I had cramps and sore boobs the week leading up to BFP. Only took a test to get the disappointment out of the way as I was convinced it was just AF on the way (obviously I was wrong! 😂).
Current pregnancy I definitely had a feeling, but conceived on first cycle of trying so thought it was too good to be true. Again, had cramps the week before, but no sore boobs this time around, got loads of spots which isn't like me at all, kept getting trapped wind and was SUPER snappy with DH 🙈 I didn't want to get my hopes up, but I won't lie, I knew!
Hope you get your BFP soon!
xx
