Implantation bleeding or period?

Hello!

I am hoping for some opinions and experiences of IB. We are trying for our second child (current child is 4), I don’t recall having IB with our 4 year old.

I am not sure whether I am having a prolonged start to my period or if I am experiencing IB.

Please tell me:
When you experienced IB bleeding
How long your IB lasted for
What your IB looked like
How often in the day did you notice it?
How long after your IB did you get BFP?

My experience so far:
Been TTC our second for 8 months
I have 27 day cycles and usually lightly spot for half-one day before coming on full flow.
I am currently CD25 so due on in 2 days time.

CD22/9dpo -
Thick beige/light brown coloured CM in knickers.
Start of light watery light pink spotting when going to the toilet (small drips) - no pad needed.

CD23/10dpo
light watery light pink spotting when going to the toilet (small drips) - no pad needed.

CD24/11dpo
Same as CD 23

CD25/12dpo (today)
Same as CD23 and 24 but less frequent (rather than each time I went to the toilet, only twice).
BFN test today (FMU with FRER)

The look of the spotting when going to the toilet (small drips) is as if I am about to start my period but that only ever lasts 1 day and the following day I come on heavily.

I am starting to convince myself it is IB but I know I will just end up letting myself down. I am also worried it may be an additional endometriosis symptom (doctors have already suggested I may have this from other symptoms).

Hi @FebruaryJuly I had a single bit of spotting around the time I was due and two days later had a very light /end of week type bleed. It lasted around 3-4 days and was more like spotting at the end. Light enough to only need a panty liner to catch it.
I'm usually heavy in the first two days of my period, so this was definitely not that.
I waited for two days after bleeding and had a positive test in the morning.

I've noticed IB twice. Both times it was a 2mm, round speck on toilet paper. Nothing when wiping again, nothing on underwear and nothing more. 1st was a pink speck, 2nd time was more yellowy/brown. I dont know the dates for the 1st time, but the 2nd was 10dpo, the got BFP on 14 dpo. I know dates exactly, because that was an IVF pregnany. No cramps that I recall either. Best of luck x

I ovulated on the 19th February ( tracked via clear blue ovulation test )

I had spotting yesterday 28th February with back aches. Today feels more like a period.

Could this be implantation bleeding, or is this just an early period?

Negative ultra early clear blue test.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
