8 days late

Hi anyone got a late Bfp? I'm currently 8 days late done a test when I was 5 days late and this morning and still negative I'm at my wits end and it's mind boggling had some symptoms similar to aunt flow but nausea and metallic taste in my mouth don't know when I should call doctors ?

I'm currently 7 days late and in the same situation as you . Had really feint lines yesterday and today but super feint and blue dye so questioning evap 🙄 clear blue digital negative .... I have sore boobs , metallic taste and on off nausea ....... keep me posted on how you get on xx

aww it's murder isn't it I had cramp a week before my peroid was due that a don't usually get last nite had crampy pulling feeling on my left side I have also got veiny boobs nausea and discharge it's frustrating as am never late never mind over a week my tummy right now is feeling tighting am Thinking that my peroid nite come xx

Is your ovulation date estimated or confirmed?

More often than not when people get very late positives or have negatives but are several days late it normally means they ovulated much later than usual. If you did ovulate late then on theory you might not actually be 'late' yet.

Aww a understand @Curiosity101 it's just a big massive wating game and the unknowing that's it's making it hard, any advice on what to do ?
Heartburn is another thing I have been getting recently morning noon & night x

@Curiosity101 it's just estimated going by the Flo app I ovulated between the 18-28th so thag would mean I'm on day 40 of my cycle if that's correct x

Hey ladies I’m in a similar situation, not as late (I’m around 3 days late) but I’m fairly sure that I’m 16 dpo as I had all 3 indicators that I was ovulating; peak opk, bbt rose and ewcm. I’ve only had bfn so far but I’ve read stories of other women getting bfn this late and then end up getting bfp days later. Fingers crossed for us all 🤞🏼

@Nam095 aww girl it's hard ain't it the not knowing when you going to test ? Am just wanting to know what's going on if I have missed a peroid this month or if I'm going to get a bfp x

@mamatoabeautifulgirl In that case your app may be completely wrong (and probably is wrong). My app reckoned I would ovulate CD14-16 this cycle but it was CD21 (confirmed with various symptoms and OPKs). I'm not TTC at the moment so that would've been a very nerve racking 5 days where I thought I was late if I didn't know otherwise!

A person's luteal phase (time between ovulation and period) is normally reasonably static. On average it's 12-14 days so your period is only late if you know when you ovulated and are passed your normal luteal phase length.

Fingers crossed for you, you're not out until your period arrives and like I said, your period may not actually be late yet 🙂

@mamatoabeautifulgirl I tested yesterday and today, think I'm going to try and wait till Thursday/Friday (if I have the patience) to test again. If still negative and no AF by then I'm also going to call my doctors. It's exactly that as well, not knowing what is going! x

@Nam095 am just wating on the Doctor calling me back I just want a bit of advice am not TTc but not being careful either this is the first time I have been in this position so just really confused because of the bfn and no peroid yet how else are u feeling ? Any other symptoms xx

@mamatoabeautifulgirl ah I see, yeah you just want to know what’s going on if it’s late but no positive tests! I’ve had so many symptoms, cramps, headache, dizziness, nausea, sore boobs/nipples, fatigue, backache, and my cm has changed past couple days but don’t know what it means 😕 did your doctor say anything else? x

I'm the same sore boobs veins round my nippels nause my moods been so bad crying for nothing etc all the symptoms u would get no she just asked some questions and says she would get me I tommoz for a blood test and all find out wednesday xxxx

I had a blood test took today at doctors but not getting my hopes up at all had some af like type cramps today again and nausea on & off all day but we know how our body can play tricks on us xxxx

Oh yes definitely, I had so many symptoms the past couple weeks I thought I could be pregnant but all these negative tests I’m not so sure now. Let me know what your results are when you get them! xx

@mamatoabeautifulgirl fingers crossed for you xx I caved and tested at 4am when I woke up desperate for the loo ! Same kind of line as before but possibly a bit darker 🤞 came up within the time frame ....... I've bought a first response now and I'm going to test using that in the morning .😬🤞

@Nam095 a find out tommorow what the results are so all let you know let me know your outcome when u poas  you don't know if ur minds tricking u with the symptoms ur feeling I feel your pain or the unknowing it's a pain Huni fingers crossed!

I'm doing a first response tomorrow morning (although I bought them off Amazon and have heard some first response tests from Amazon could be 'fake' tests?) and then I've ordered more tests of various brands from Boots that are arriving Thursday! xx

@Sarahvill @Curiosity101 think that's my peroid on way just done the deed with oh and wiped it was very light pink only when I wiped got tampon in to see how it is in morning I would have been happy if I was happy f I'm not. Good luck ladies keep me updated xxx

Morning! Do you usually get spotting before a period? It might also have just been DTD causing a bit of blood.

I got another BFN this morning but still no AF. Had some more cramping and still have sore boobs/nipples, nausea and headache. I think I’m going to call my GP today xx

So I did the FR this morning and it's BFN well a squint of a line.
I can now post pics so here they are . Think possibly it's the old blue dye nightmare ?! Surely FR should be positive by now ??
