Tracking your cycle and possible BFP using RHR - part 3

Hi ladies,

This is for all of us with heart rate monitors who wish to help each other analyse the RHR patterns throughout our cycles.

Early research shows there's a correlation with increasing RHR and BFPs - so let's try and spot some together!

@LS2020 I am so bloody sorry 😩💕. You poor thing. Are you cramping at all or just bleeding? Totally not strange at all. If I were you I would test when I got home from holiday and again once the bleeding has stopped and see what it says. It’s just so shitty.

So 18dpo today and bleeding red blood. Absolutely gutted!! Onto the next cycle 😩🤞 HR has also dropped by two. Girls please don’t let me test till Atleast 20dpo In the future! 😭

LS2020 · 18/09/2020 09:19

@mumof23188 both now and it’s proper first day of AF type blood so deffo not a good sign. Yeah will let it all pass and test again. Abs heartbreaking when taken so long, just hope I can get a BFP again.

Sorry to hear that AF has showed for you too, with you in this pain ❤️

mumof23188 · 18/09/2020 09:25

@LS2020 I just can’t believe it. You poor thing. I’m heartbroken for you. It’s proven that you can get pregnant and it will happen again lovely. Poor you and your OH 😭. I don’t want to give you false hope but bleeding can be a normal thing. Although I don’t think the cramps mean it’s good news. Definitely test just to see what it says.

LS2020 · 18/09/2020 10:12

@mumof23188 yeah the bleed I had yesterday I could have seen as ok but this is like a full period so deffo not a good thing.
We’ve had a good couple of cries and feeling a lot better. It’s weirdly reassuring to know we can get pregnant and we’ve just got to hope for a stickier bean 🤞🏻 Tbh when my RHR dropped almost immediately I had suspicions so I don’t think it was meant to be. I just really want to be able to get another BFP

mumof23188 · 18/09/2020 13:46

@LS2020 hope you are doing ok. It’s so tough and I really do feel for you. Yes I can imagine that it is, you both know now that it can happen and it will happen again. I found it reassuring reading why chemical pregnancies happen

LS2020 · 18/09/2020 14:27

@mumof23188 yes I’ve found it helpful to see that it’s spontaneous and no future bearing and obviously it’s because of abnormalities so was never going to be a good story so we are quite happy to accept it as fate and know that we’re now in a better position x

Mrsi2020 · 18/09/2020 16:38

@LS2020 aww no am gutted for you. Hope you are ok lovely. You are really fertile the month after a loss so get on it this month, distract yourself! Try Angus cactus and baby aspirin ! I swear they worked for me! Angus cactus I used the Holland and Barrett one until I ovulated and aspirin 75mg you can get anywhere I’m still taking and it stops early preg losses, neither can do any harm! Fx for you ladies 😞

I didn’t test today. Which I’m happy about and trying not to look at rhr - might actually turn it off xxx

LS2020 · 18/09/2020 16:42

@Mrsi2020 thank you lovely. I am slowly feeling better and taking it as a good thing that I can get at least pregnant. All the articles I’ve read on a CP indicate it’s (sadly) a good sign for fertility and it has been nice to know it can happen so that’s kept me going. Thanks for the tip, I will deffo look at 😊

Yay I’m glad you’re feeling more confident about it all and wishing you the best of luck with it - remind me, is this your first too?

Mrsi2020 · 18/09/2020 18:19

Aww I’m glad you’re thinking positively, you can do it! I have everything crossed for you.

This is my 8th pregnancy, hopefully 3rd child. 4 of those losses were this year and v early. The first loss was years ago and further on. All by 6 weeks. I’m 5+3 now and v anxious altho my tests have been v dark and 3+ on a digi on Thursday so I am hopeful.

Xxx

Hi ladies 💕
I'm still here - just have nothing interesting to contribute right now so I've been quietly keeping up with you all.
Sending lots of love out 💕 congratulations and lots of sticky baby dust on the BFPs I've missed (particularly you @Mrsi2020 ✨ 🤩 check those linesssss!) and lots of luck to all of us still waiting for the BFPs 💕
I just upgraded my Fitbit account for the free premium trial and and am thrilled to have even more data to screw up my mind 🤣 so I'm here to throw out a little thought I had when I was dissecting the features...especially the sleep one.
Has anyone with premium noticed any link between their sleeping HR data and their cycle? (i.e. % below/above RHR and % restlessness)
I haven't looked properly into mine yet but I'm 100% gonna now that it's popped into my mind 😂

Juno231 · 18/09/2020 20:07

@mrswilso I'm lurking too :)

@Ls2020 I'm so, so sorry. Big bear hug from me, please take good care of yourself.

I had a peak OPK today so should hopefully ovulate today/tomorrow. RHR isn't really telling me much atm though.

@mrswilso I have the premium also and it seems mine is always above my RHR by a few beats! I’ll attach a picture of mine. This pic is from last week.

My period is so heavy this time, it’s unbelievable. Soaking through tampax and it’s mega painful 😩

Hey @Juno231 👋🏻😘 hope you're doing good ✨
Oh dear @mumof23188 sorry to hear you're having a tough time of it 💕
Mine seems to stay below more...
I will 100% end up making up some spreadsheet charts 🤣

I think I’m 23DPO now and got my BFP last Monday & can confirm that so far the RHR has stayed high since then! Fingers crossed for a sticky bean, I’m somewhere between 5-6 weeks ❤️ hope everyone else is doing ok! Xx

@mrswilso ah that’s interesting! Where are you at in your cycle? I will keep an eye on mine now I’m bleeding and see what it says. Thank you. It’s so tough emotionally. Hope you are doing ok ☺️

mumof23188 · 18/09/2020 20:25

@mrswilso I’ve just gone back and had a look when I last had my chemical and mine was well below my RHR! That’s the night after I started bleeding at 16dpo. Super interesting! As you say more to ponder over 😂

@mumof23188 I'm CD24 6dpo and due AF around Thursday/Friday so I'll be keeping an eye on it this week.

poptypingchef · 18/09/2020 23:40

😞 @mumof23188 and @LS2020 I’m sorry to hear this, it’s truly gutting when it happens.

@mumof23188 that sounds like mine did after my chemical, a lot more than normal.

ambs1994 · 19/09/2020 08:03

Morning, tested again but i feel like my eyes keep tricking me. Looks to me theres a little something there but wont show on camera. My boobs are really heavy, my nips are sore. My rhr has risen too

@LS2020 I'm so gutted for you, I don't really know what to say 💛💛 you know you can get pregnant now and I really hope that next time it sticks

@mumof23188 so sorry, sending big hugs 💛

I think I'm 4dpo and rhr went up when I had my peak, back down and is now going back up but I'm away in Edinburgh on a long weekend and had a few drinks yesterday so it'll be hard to know what's alcohol related until monday

LS2020 · 19/09/2020 08:16

Thank you all lovely ladies, know I’ve been a bit quiet but I am reading all your messages and support so thank you ❤️

I’m actually doing ok, obviously was a bit gutting when it started but it’s not been that traumatic, just like having a normal period so it was deffo a chemical and just not meant to be. My RHR started plummeting almost from missing AF so I know what to look out for next time too. I’m just taking it as a good sign that it can happen and selfishly hoping to ride on the fact that I’m a bit more fertile this month and I might get another BFP 🤞🏻

@mumof23188 that’s so strange that it’s so heavy. I never get heavy periods and even with this I had my normal bad 24 hours of needing new pad every few hours but then like my one last evening and overnight barely had any blood on them. Haven’t overly bled through or anything. Sorry that you’re going through that ❤️

StarStarTeachMe · 20/09/2020 06:40

Hi everyone,
I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much, but with 2 days before my period, this looks promising, yes?

ambs1994 · 20/09/2020 07:53

I'm out this month. AF here 2 days early and I'm never early.

StarStarTeachMe · 20/09/2020 08:52

Sorry to hear that @ambs1994
