Tracking your cycle and possible BFP using RHR - part 3

Hi ladies,

This is for all of us with heart rate monitors who wish to help each other analyse the RHR patterns throughout our cycles.

Early research shows there's a correlation with increasing RHR and BFPs - so let's try and spot some together!

@Juno231 lol no I think you’re a genius at all this stuff 🤣 I’m in the same boat as you, miscarriage from the beginning of the year that would have been due on October 😱🙈 but it is what it is, 😳 i swear I didn’t track or try any other times really I just got preg, maybe we should be just having sec every second day the whole month and hoping for the best!! Lol xxx

SarahTTC2020 · 05/09/2020 07:44

@Juno231@LS2020 yeah I do think it's been a proper AF, not as heavy as the last few but enough blobs in there 🙈 and I'd tested 4 times in the week after it was due so I'm confident I'm not pregnant , just a graph that isn't following the pattern!
We're cutting out drinking for a couple weeks, so I should see what my rhr does when I don't drink for once!

Mrsi2020 · 05/09/2020 08:09

Bfn here although only 8dpo! Xxx

@Juno231 yes I bet it does help when your mind is busy with other things. Hope you have the best holiday, you deserve it ☺️. I’m ok thank you, just know that I’m out this month so just wishing the days away. My HR is still very low!

@LS2020 roll on next week!! Hope you have a lovely weekend!

@Mrsi2020 how are you? Still vvvvv early. When will you test again?

@SarahTTC2020 hope you are doing ok? I’m sure you will notice a bit of a difference without alcohol, it does affect it doesn’t it.

LS2020 · 05/09/2020 09:56

@Juno231 yes it’s literally the most boring bit - hope you have a wonderful time on holiday and I hope I feel similar this month that with holiday etc there’s enough to distract me.
I did have a dream last night though that I went to the doctors as my boobs were so sore and they were like well ofc they are if you’re pg which was v weird as they hurt so bad I’m almost shocked they’re not sore this am but has made me a bit sad to wake up now!

@Mrsi2020 sorry it was bfn but is still v early. We tried to DTD every other day a couple of months ago and it was exhausting and I’m only a 27 day cycle haha, hope you have better stamina 😂😂

@SarahTTC2020 do you drink often? I do find mine goes up slightly when I’ve had a few drinks but only when it’s a proper eve of drinks, not like a white wine spritzer with tea. I’m starting to coast on my RHR it was 59 again today tho looking at the detail should have been a bit higher so maybe it’ll revise up.

@mumof23188 you too! Hope you’ve got more fun things planned than me doing chores

Mrsi2020 · 05/09/2020 11:34

@mumof23188 I am good, how are you? I’m a bit impatient just wanna know at this stage lol

@Ls2020 thanks girls! I know it’s early! Haha I’ve a higher sex drive than dh I could do every other day easily 🤣

I need to be doing chores today! Lol!

This is my rhr and bbt today, how’s everyone else’s doing? Xx

Hey, I hope you are all well? I've taken some time off MN to focus on things. Plus I have now been referred to Gynae (as well as the fertility clinic) because of my ultrasound results.

I'm approx 4DPO and my RHR is on the rise 🤞🏼

@Juno231@mumof23188 im ok thank you- I've had some moments. Me and my partner have next week off and we are going away (just in the UK) to have a break and change of scenery. How are you both?

Mrsi2020 · 05/09/2020 14:22

@Fran2020 I sometimes think a break is needed, it’s so consuming ttc. How do you feel about your referral? Fingers crossed for this cycle xxx

Fran2020 · 05/09/2020 14:59

@Mrsi2020 Definitely 😊 I'm going to limit my time on here too. Erm a bit worried really (even though the doctor said not too) as if it is a polyp causing my lining to be too thick, they can be fine or can be dodgy. 😬🤞🏼Thank you! How are you? Xx

Mrsi2020 · 05/09/2020 15:09

I’m ok thank you, I’ve had gynae problems before, dodgy smear, polyps aswell, they’ve went away by themselves. I hope yours is the same. I think just anything in that region automatically makes us worry, I think if it was something to worry about you’d be seen as emergency so hopefully that’s a good sign. Xxx

Fran2020 · 05/09/2020 17:11

@Mrsi2020 That's good that they went away on their own. I hope mine are the same! Oh yeah, definitely made me worry. Looking forward to relaxing next week and no work! Thank you 😊 xx

SarahTTC2020 · 05/09/2020 21:18

@ls2020 yes I'm generally a pretty big drinker, start of lockdown could easily drink a bottle of wine and bottle of rum with my husband in a night 🙈 slowly been trying to cut down to normal levels and tonight I've had one gin and that's it. I want to lose weight as well so that's a good driver for cutting down drink

Mrsi2020 · 06/09/2020 07:06

I think we have liftoff .... I pray this is a sticky bean xxx

I only tested cos I had a small temp drop xxx

LS2020 · 06/09/2020 07:15

@Mrsi2020 I can definitely see a small line! I really hope so for you 🤞🏻

@Fran2020 hope you have a fab week away and rest up, we all need a bit of rest. I think if AF shows while I’m on holiday I’ll probably take a break for a bit too 😊

@SarahTTC2020 yeah it’s probably a good idea as if you do fall pg it’ll be less cutting it cold too, hopefully you see a bit of improvement with your RHR too

Mrsi2020 · 06/09/2020 07:17

Thanks @LS2020 me too. I think sometimes a break is good, first time we used Angus cactus this month, not sure if it helped! Xxx

LS2020 · 06/09/2020 07:50

@Mrsi2020 I’ve heard about that but think it can mess with cycle length and I kinda like having a shorter one so I can try again (that’s super sad isn’t it 😂) but might have to look more at it. Will you test again tomorrow now?

Mrsi2020 · 06/09/2020 08:39

It makes your cycle shorter lol! I think I ovulated a day to two early but not much, apparently if your cycle is regular it mightn’t change it at all. My moods were better too! I only used a mild dose from cd1 until I ov’d I’m the same as you , some of the ladies on here that have cycles going on for 2/3 months, that’s horrible for them :(

I’ll test later on, tonight, tomorrow and every day after until I get an early scan (all being well) 🤣🤣🤣

I’ve had a lot of losses and 2 kids, so I know how quick it can go so wrong so I’m realistic but I like to be prepared . If the lines are getting fainter I know it’s a bad sign and I’m prepared for the worst, but I also like to be completely hopeful each time and still hope for the best. Fingers crossed this turns into a blazing bfp for me. I struggled this month a little bit , I think the calm approach to ttc suits my mood but at the same time the ocd in me likes to be in control and give myself the best possible chance so it’s a bad combination lol xxx

ambs1994 · 06/09/2020 08:44

Cycle day 18 for me now, currently in fertile week. My heart rate has shot up this week, from being 61 on Monday and is now 76 this morning. The 19th aug signals first day of period this cycle.
Probably doesn't help that I'm poorly, hopefully with a common cold/flu and not corona. Ordered a corona test and its coming today, but cant use and send it back until tomorrow. I've passed all the temp checks at work though, I havent lost sense of smell or taste, I just have a chesty cough, sore throat and sniffly nose.

Mrsi2020 · 06/09/2020 10:16

@mumof23188 thank you so much lovely! I hope this is your month too, I would love us to be preg buddies!!!!

This was my rhr, 64 was o so there wasn’t much happening for me at 6dpo either. Symptoms wise the last few days I’ve been tired , but crampy and sore boobs, but obv they can be af symptoms too but they’re out of the ordinary for me xxx

Mrsi2020 · 06/09/2020 10:16

Forgot the chart doh

Ok ladies I'm driving myself crazy & im petrified I'm going to miscarry. I got my BFP on Wednesday. I'm now officially late for my AF. & I've had brown discharge for a week now. After implantation my RHR continued to rise, but yesterday & today its dropped😣 for some reason I don't think it's a good sign. I thought it was supposed to continue to rise for a little bit longer🤷‍♀️ has anyone else had this & been ok or miscarried? I'm so worried this morning, I'm just thinking I'm going to start bleeding soon😔

Mrsi2020 · 06/09/2020 10:46

I’m not sure but I think that can be normal enough! @Juno231 might know, she’s a minefield Of info. Hope you’re ok! It’s such a worrying time. Have you still been testjng? Is there progression if so? Xxx

Chlo2701 · 06/09/2020 10:50

@Mrsi2020 yes I've still been testing but with all different tests. When I found out on Weds at 9DPO my frer was really strong, & CB digital picked it up (1st pic) (2nd pic) is the Sainsbury's test that I did yesterday, so was 12DPO. I'm literally shitting myself here😖

@Chlo2701 Omg I think your tests are fab!!! i know it’s easier said than done but if I had your tests I wouldn’t be at all worried! I think your tests are fine, there are so many variables and some people don’t even get a bfp early. Mine is barely visible at 9dpo!! Xxx
