Breastfeeding and TTC

Hello, I'm just looking for some advice. I'm still breastfeeding little one but we are TTC. I'm currently two weeks late for AF but they are irregular. I've been getting BFNs and I'm just wondering how long it took others in the same position to get their BFPs? Thanks.

I conceived whilst breastfeeding twice when my son was 21 months old and 24 months old. I had a missed miscarriage and then a chemical pregnancy. My cycle had returned and been regular since he was 9 months old. However I am one of those unfortunate people who conceive easily and miscarry easily. It took me just 1-2 months.

Thank you for your reply. Sorry to hear about your loss.
I have conceived previously whilst breastfeeding but my periods returned to normal immediately after birth and we fell pregnant on the first month of TTC when baby was six months old so I know I was very lucky the first time. I knew this time would be different as my cycle is so irregular, I think until my cycle is regular it won't happen. Do I keep taking tests or just wait it out?
