@VP91x hi, I haven’t contacted epu or gp about it. I figured it’s a waste of time if they refuse to do anything till I’m 6 weeks. My scans a week this Friday. Hopefully it goes away again and I won’t be doing anything else naughty again for a good while if at all x

Hayley19835 · 18/08/2020 20:01

@VP91x that's just the way the nhs funding works. Even the specialist said she feels it's unfair but that's just the way it is. My parents would 100% fund us if I asked but there's no guarantee it will work. OH has been reading about Impryl, the fertility specialist recommended that at our first apt but it's quite expensive but he wants to give that ago bless him he's really trying cos he can see how gutted I am xx

VP91x · 18/08/2020 20:08

@Pugprincess that's good then, not too long to wait although I'm sure it will feel like a lifetime xx

@Hayley19835 yeah Impryl is meant to be good, it's about £35/month isn't it. Also some of the ladies here tried HCG injections for their OHs @2020wish maybe you can shed some light xx

Northernsoul90 · 18/08/2020 20:12

@Hayley19835 I think it's so unfair how the funding works - it seems to be a bit of a postcode lottery as well. I'm glad you have a good support network and you're right in taking time to process things and look at your options. I have everything crossed for you in the meantime xx

@VP91x That sounds fab! I'm sure Bella will love it as well - you've picked the perfect week to go. Thank you for info about the temps that's good to know. This is what I'm thinking about dtd we don't want to wear out 🤣. I hope af arrives for you soon it's been a rollercoaster with your temps and opks hasn't it! Xx

@Cici89 Sorry it was a bfn but you seem to have a really positive outlook! I was like that in the end and at least you know things are working as they should with af arriving xx

Lollol86 · 18/08/2020 20:17

@VP91x no we didn't bother with the dinning, there's a supermarket just outside Butlins so we just cooked and used the facilities on site. Is everything open there? Xx

Tink20058 · 18/08/2020 20:18

@VP91x we have booked for this weekend to go to Skegness butlins I have just downloaded the apps so we can do table service and book the swimming and activities my little one is so excited he is counting down the days he is never this excited when we go abroad 🤣🤣🤣 xx

chloedancer897 · 18/08/2020 20:24

I can't remember who said to me about heavy periods but I started doing Mayan fertility massage from YouTube and it helped me so much this month! I'm usually crippled from CD2-4 but I didn't even need pain relief this month. It's on YouTube if anyone is interested. You're meant to keep doing it up to ovulation to stimulate circulation so I'm doing it every day.

Also, there's a great YouTube channel called fertility homeopath that I watch. Highly recommend. She gives you great tips for implantation, TWW etc x

chloedancer897 · 18/08/2020 20:26

@Hayley19835 I read into impryl as it was recommended to me too but apparently the men's conception has the same ingredients. You just have to also take NAC supplement too

HE88 · 18/08/2020 20:33

@VP91x I ended up buying boots own epo and their own brand of coq10 which cost me 30 quid 🤦‍♀️. Do you take omega 3? Xx

HE88 · 18/08/2020 20:42

@SmileyT was it yourself that was taking epo, omega 3 and coq10? Xx

VP91x · 18/08/2020 20:44

@Tink20058 Oh fab! You'll hage to let me know how it is! does everything seem to be open? Xx

@Lollol86 yeah we aren't going to do the dining plan either, doesn't seem worth it! I think everything is open from what it says. Did you do the steam train that's nearby? Xx

@Northernsoul90 yeah, I'm so excited to take her. I'm just hoping it doesn't rain, lots of sun or at least nice weather of some sort. Yeah absolutely it gets a bit much after a few days. Keep going with the CBs🤞 xx

@HE88 ooh, no I haven't ever tried the Omega 3! I think quite a few take it though xx

SmileyT · 18/08/2020 21:09

@VP91x ahh sorry you're feeling a bit fed up this cycle, but not long until your next appt is it? Did your temps stay high? x

@HE88 yeah I took all three of those for the last cycle, EPO before ovulation and the other two all the way through the cycle x

VP91x · 18/08/2020 21:16

@SmileyT I've had to move it to 6th October so still a while away now. Temps aren't high but above coverline. I'm sure I didn't ovulate though, just waiting for AF. You okay today? ''

@Bl0ndi3 the exact same thing happened to me, my EPAU said they'd cancel my booking appointment, a week later my midwife called to confirm the arrangements for the booking appointment. It seems like such a simple piece of communication when women are MCing and it seems to be missed all the time. Sorry you had to go through that.

@pugprincess I had some light spotting the one time we DTD whilst pregnant and I know how you feel, it scared me too. We've not done it since but I might try it again now we've had the scan. As others said it's harmless and common to cause some spotting for various reasons. Don't wish for sickness. Honestly I feel nauseous most of the time and haven't even been sick and that's bad enough. Can't imagine how horrendous it is for ladies that get it badly!

@ladysamee I can see a line too! Fingers crossed it gets stronger 🤞🏼 how long after testing did it appear?

@kittycat581 @fingerscrossedfor2021HK sorry for your loss, welcome to the group - you're in the right place

@stayinghopeful92x omg what a tosser! I'm so sorry to hear that! Good riddance by the sounds of it, but it can't be easy 😔

@BEESY90 oh honey that sounds so scary! I'm so sorry to hear you're going through that!

HE88 · 18/08/2020 21:32

@SmileyT perfect thanks that was going to be my next question when did you take them. You also took calc fluor throughout your cycle 2 tablets twice a day? Xx

Bl0ndi3 · 18/08/2020 21:39

Thanks everyone it was shit and it actually really set me back today I had a little meltdown this afternoon think everything just got too much I was tired and achey from yesterday's run, cleaning all day and then I'd not stuck to my diet and I just broke down and sobbed on the bed for a short while.

I'm gonna try and do CBD ovulation more consistently with FMU this week. It's just hard when OH doesn't know I test and I don't wanna risk him waking up if he's still asleep when I'm up bursting for a wee at 5am 😂😂

Does anyone else ever feel a huge wave of sadness about their miscarriage just randomly and suddenly? I've been fine all day and thoughts just start to creep in thinking about how many weeks I would have been, what I would have been doing/buying/looking forward to and yet here I am back doing opks thinking about all the first weeks I will have to get through again. It's just so hard at times isn't it. I'm glad we all have this space to share our feelings and support one another as nobody truly understands what it feels like without going through it themselves

HopeForRainbowbaby · 18/08/2020 22:32

@VP91x where are you in your cycle ? I wish you quick AF so you can start with new cycle👍

HopeForRainbowbaby · 18/08/2020 22:36

@Northernsoul90 yes I do. Especially when I am reminded constantly of the progress of ladies close to me with due dates of my two first miscarriages. It is not easy. But I am better emotionally dealing with two miscarriages and now chemical, all this year. But your time will come and then you can go crazy with buying with things and if you really like something now, actually why wouldn't you buy it sometimes ? And I agree, I feel like all ladies on this group really helped with this emotional process and always everyone is so kind to each other 😘

MinnieMouse4 · 18/08/2020 22:58

Hello Ladies.

I hope to be able to join you all on your journeys. I have been reading over your stories for a few days now and wanted to say how sorry I was to hear of your losses. Congratulations to those who are expecting again!

My story is that I had been actively TTC for over a year and decided to stop last year as it just became too stressful and depressing seeing negatives month after month. I found out I was expecting in July and about 2 weeks later started bleeding which got heavier and a couple of days later I naturally passed everything. I then took a cheapy test around 6 days after the initial bleed which was negative.

Having this MC has made me realise just how much I want to be pregnant and the sooner the better. I don’t really want to wait for the first AF so have began dtd. I have read that you treat the first day of bleeding as CD1 so I am now on CD12. I began using CBD OPK today as my app says I will be ovulating this week but I got a blank circle.

What are everyone’s experiences with their cycle returning to normal after MC?

HappyVibes · 18/08/2020 23:19

@MinnieMouse4 welcome lovely, sorry you find yourself here but hopefully you will hear lots of hopeful stories to help keep you motivated and lots of faith and hope...with lots of tips and support.

I have been ovulating a lot later than my previous cycles, and a lot later than my apps have indicated too. But bare with and keep up with the OPKs and I am sure yours will come, just maybe a little different timing than previous. Xxxx

fafi · 19/08/2020 00:09

@ladysamee a faint line in 2.5 mins seems too soon to be an evap line to me ☺️

VP91x · 19/08/2020 06:44

@Northernsoul90 yes, completely sympathise with you hun. I'm sorry you've had one of those days, it rrallynis such an overwhelming feeling. I'm glad I'm past what would have been my due date, but now it won't be long until we are in October which is when I found out was pregnant last year and it all feels like such a long time! I hope you are okay ❤️

@HopeForRainbowbaby thank you, I'm on CD28 now. How are you? Xx

@MinnieMouse4 welcome, so sorry for your recent loss. Some find they ovulate around the same time but most have delayed ovulation by a few days or so. Keep going with the CBD, wishing you lots of luck for this cycle xx
