Question on timelines

Hi all, (long time lurker, first time poster here!)

I'm a bit confused about how timelines are measured during pregnancy and wonder if someone can help. Am I right in thinking everything except the Clear Blue pregnancy tests are measured from the date your last period started? My cycles are still messed up with coming off the pill in April so the time between period and ovulation is a bit unpredictable at the moment!

Is this right?:
Clearblue tests - show time since conception
Definition of chemical pregnancy - a miscarriage within 5 weeks of your last period (?)
Due date and timing for the 12 week scan - calculated from date your last period started

Bump! I think you are right, but i'm not sure!

Yep, but it assumes a 28 day regular cycle, so your 12 week scan dates you as assumed conception + 14 days, may not match the actual date of your period.

If you get a CBD result add two weeks (when I booked in with the midwife I told them what the CBD said and the receptionist assumed that was 'how pregnant' I was and I almost missed my scan window.

I couldn't go off last period because I hadn't had one for months!
