@Daffodil21 thanks for the info I will look out for that. I was suspected of. It before when I had a scan because I had a lot of follicles, but at the time my hormone levels were fine, although I don't remember having them done on a certain day. That was years ago though.
@Tofu35 sounds like you balance each other out well. Me and oh do the same he's super chill and I'm a stress head. Thanks.

Bramleyapples13 · 15/11/2020 18:45

Hello everyone! I thought the thread had gone! It stopped showing me updates ages ago 😭 bloody thing. I hope every one is okay? I'm so sorry @Daffodil21 to hear your news. I'm thinking of you.

Daffodil21 · 15/11/2020 21:39

@Bam27 similar to me - I had 35 antral follicles during my scan. A blood test over a year ago showed high prolactin but a repeat since hasn't. So they seem to have disregarded all my other symptoms. I'm pretty sure though so I've booked an app with the GP next week to try and g er it actually diagnosed so I can't get treatment if needed.

@Bramleyapples13 thank you ❤️ nice to have you back. How have you been doing? Do you know where you are in your cycle?

Bramleyapples13 · 16/11/2020 07:46

@Daffodil21 it's been alright. Busy but coping. I'm due AF tomorrow, so we'll see. I've had my referral for the fertility clinic but that's obviously up in the air at the minute.

I can see there's been a few BFP as well from people?

Daffodil21 · 16/11/2020 15:05

@Bramleyapples13 everything continued as normal for me with the fertility clinic, even through the first lockdown so hopefully it'll be the same for you. My initial consultation was on the phone and then I went to my local GP for blood tests, and then to the clinic for a scan.

Fingers crossed you won't need it though! 🤞

Bramleyapples13 · 16/11/2020 18:15

They've said they haven't done any appointments throughout either lock down so I'll apparently hear from them in a few months 🙄 but never mind! I'll be ordering a load of gin for Christmas instead 😂

Daffodil21 · 17/11/2020 09:13

@Bramleyapples13 oh really? That's shit. Sort of in the same boat here waiting for appointments. I likely won't hear anything from RMC until January so just in limbo until things get going there. I suppose we can treat it like a little break? That's what I'm going to do anyway - still regularly dtd but not track etc. Although I'm going to start tracking this month because I have no idea when my cycle will come back. Got to wait for a fully negative pregnancy test first though, did a cheapie yesterday and it had a faint line still. Never thought I'd see the day where I didn't get excited about a v faint line 🙄

OP posts:
Tofu35 · 17/11/2020 13:17

@daffodil21 paid for a private dye test next month and we've been told no TTC this month. So no tracking and just enjoying not being tied to the FW. Like you said, its being treated like a break.
Hope you get your BFN soon x

Daffodil21 · 17/11/2020 13:55

@Tofu35 fingers crossed for BFN (for me), what has my life become? 😔 does that mean you have to actively try not to conceive?

OP posts:
Tofu35 · 17/11/2020 15:14

@daffodil21, yep! Need to make sure I'm definitely not pregnant before they do the investigations. So no penetrative sex this month. In some ways it sounds daft to give a month away, but if it means I find out why it's taking longer than it should, just need to cross my legs and hope for the best 😂

Daffodil21 · 17/11/2020 15:41

@Tofu35 cross your legs and hope for the best 😂😂 that did make me laugh! It might be good for you to take a mental break too.

We haven't dtd for ages (I was too paranoid to when I was preg) so hoping DH will be raring to go from Thursday, assuming the test is fully negative (you also have to wait two weeks to help prevent infection). So here we go again! In some ways TTC is slightly easier than actually being pregnant for me... I know where I am with it at least. I know what to do (it's not hard is it! Well maybe it is..). Starting a proper health kick now too, well picking up on the one I did start. So going to try and focus on that and just go with the flow while we wait for tests and results (ha)

Ladies, I got a flashing face this morning!!!!

Normally it takes 4-5 days until I get a static, and I did have that weird month where it took 10 days, so not getting my hopes up. But this is progress!!! I didn't expect it to be so soon, tbh I didn't really expect it this side of Christmas because after the second time my cycles were really messed up for months.

Hope everyone is doing ok????

OP posts:
Bramleyapples13 · 20/11/2020 21:29

@Daffodil21 yay! Can you get doing the baby dance?

Also I don't know if people want a heads up but the Clearblue OPK are on offer on Amazon as are Pregnacare for Black Friday (I do not get any commission 😂)

Tofu35 · 21/11/2020 09:27

Thanks for the heads up @Bramleyapples13!

Woopwoop flashing smiley @Daffodil21! That's your weekend sorted then 😂

Tofu35 · 21/11/2020 09:33

Some insight required (early tmi!):
I'm on CD15, so in the fw (but having the month off as I've booked in to get the tubes checked next month). Instead of getting CM this month, I seem to be spotting. Not a lot, just when I wipe. First time I've had spotting mid-cycle. Any experiences/insights?

Daffodil21 · 21/11/2020 10:12

Yeah @Bramleyapples13 as of Thursday we could get going, so we have! I didn't expect it to be this early so I'm half expecting it to flash for a while. It's not any earlier than usual but expected it to be later if anything.

@Tofu35 I've read and heard about ovulation spotting so maybe it's that? I've never had it myself though

acaciabluebell · 23/11/2020 11:11

Hey ladies, I hope you're all well. I think I'm around 8dpo right now. We did try half heartedly this month but Ive been distracted as I've been a bit unwell this month with a severe soft tissue infection in my ear. I had some surgery and I'm now on a super strong antibiotic now which is making me feel even worse than the infection did. This is my 3rd course of antibiotics back to back!! So I don't really think there's much hope of me falling pregnant this month 😔 At least I won't be symptom spotting hopefully because I'm putting all of my sickness etc down to the tablets

Daffodil21 · 23/11/2020 11:55

@acaciabluebell oh no sorry you've been unwell! Hope you feel better soon you never know, as long as you've dtd sometimes you're in with a chance. At least it's not too long to wait to find out, although I always find the second week of the TWW the worst so I hope it doesn't drag too much for you.

I got my static yesterday!!!! This will mean a 33 day cycle for me, which on a 'normal' month would have been really good, so it is very unexpected to have this following mc. I think I may have ovulated yesterday because I had some pains, and actually @Tofu35 having said I've never had any blood around ovulation, I did have a tiny bit yesterday. I've got some more acupuncture this afternoon, it was supposed to be Wednesday but I phoned saying I had a static and she's booked me in for today.

How is everyone else? Sad this thread has gone a little quiet 😔 but I suppose this whole thing is so draining it's good to sometimes take a step back sometimes (I seem to be incapable of doing this myself 😂😳)

CEW19 · 23/11/2020 12:51

Hi all! I'm still here too! this is the only group that I join in on, haven't found the same little community on any of the others. I'm about to start AF, had a break in November so know for sure it's coming. A bit later than usual mind but I think that's because I've switched from boots pre conception vits to just Folic Acid with VitD. Really hoping for a December BFP now. Will be going back to doctors in the New Year if still nothing.

Tofu35 · 23/11/2020 13:50

Aww @cew19 glad you've found a wee home here. I sometimes chat on the 12 months + thread too, nice group. Between here and there, it's keeping me sane!

@Daffodil21 that's great your accu person could fit you in around your solid smiley day!

Nothing to report here, still in my no sex month (clinic said no sex the month before the tubes test). So any bloating, queasy feelings etc in TTW will be correctly labelled as "not pregnant, just pms/indigestion/tired".

Bam27 · 24/11/2020 11:37

Hey everyone! I'm now on cycle day 54! What is going on with my body?arrrghhh! Waiting for my period so I can make an appointment for blood test, have tested loads even though I know I'm not pregnant! Don't even think I've ovulated. Have had the smallest amount of spotting but wouldn't even know it was there if I wasn't looking! Okay rant over. Hope you are all doing okay xx

Daffodil21 · 24/11/2020 12:03

@Tofu35 I've seen that group floating around but haven't joined. I also can't bring myself to join the TTC after mc groups either so like @CEW19 I just stay here with you lovelies. How are you finding your month 'off'? Is it quite nice in a way or are you feeling a little impatient?

@Bam27 cycle day 54?! Oh nooo! I feel your pain after my weird 50 day cycle a few months ago! I haven't had another one since (yet) so hopefully it's just a one off for both of us. I really hope it arrives soon! I'm guessing you didn't do an opk this month? Thankfully I did on my 50 day cycle so I knew it would end at least!

We should have dtd last night (day after static) but didn't... we did the day of the static and 2 days before. Probably not quite enough but I'm kind of ok with not being pregnant this month tbh! Already planning on testing early as I'm not waiting the full two weeks this month, I just need to know so I can stop thinking about it until after Christmas and just enjoy!

Currently listening to a webinar about improving egg quality while I work, this is literally my life now 🙈🙈😳

OP posts:
Tofu35 · 24/11/2020 14:06

@daffodil21 it's been okay, nice to not have to timetable sex for a month! although husband has been a bit cranky this month, maybe he's finding this tougher than me? 😂 Or maybe I've just married a grouch, who knows!

Good plan to test early and just enjoy the Christmas break!

Oh @bam27 that's a slog of a month! Rant away :)

Bramleyapples13 · 24/11/2020 21:16

It sounds daft but I'm glad there's other people out there that I can talk to about TTC. My other half doesn't want to tell anyone and I need to sometimes!

Bam27 · 24/11/2020 22:05

@Daffodil21 literally the longest cycle I have ever had! I did some opk but got fed up of not getting any positives so gave up. Its weird the week before my period I usually know its coming because I get sore boobs, tiredness and grumpiness lol. This month I still have no premenstrual symptoms! Hope it is just a one off!
Definitely sounds like your still in with chance! Nothing wrong with testing early if it makes you feel better, sometimes I feel like it's easier getting af when you've already seen a bfn. Hopefully we won't be seeing those though.
@Tofu35 It sure has been a slog... Thanks, sometimes just writing it out on here is enough to make me feel a bit better
@Bramleyapples13 doesn't sound daft at all. Can feel quite lonely ttc, because its not something most people feel like they can talk about.
